There was a 20% off code, WELCOMEOFFER20, still working on my husband’s account. He only purchased from the store one other time, so he has not redeemed many codes. Birchbox deactivated the others, because I could not get any to work. My husband told me he wanted to cancel his subscription in July but forgot. When he told me he wanted to cancel after August, I decided not to let him forget again. As soon as I confirmed he did his final reviews for the last 50 points he will ever do on the account, I logged into his account and canceled for him! The problem is after I canceled, the 20% off code stopped working. It made me wonder if the codes are only for subscribers. COMEBACK15OFFfor 15% off still works, but he was getting 20% before I canceled his subscription.
Every month, I review my empty products. Some products are not worth thinking about once the month is over. Others are so wonderful and seem like they’re made for me. Those are FabuFinds, and I generally like to devote a little more time to discussing them. They are items I have repurchased and will continue to repurchase even at full price if I could not find a good promo code.
To eventually spotlight all of my FabuFinds, I will never repeat items already mentioned in a past article. That does not mean they lost their magic. It is also possible an item not spotlighted in a past Empties article may get promoted as I try it more and fall deeper in love. Other times, it is because I had a lot of FabuFinds in a previous month and had to condense the article. There were four products I consider FabuFinds in my June Empties that I have not discussed yet.
The beginning of the new month to me always represents closing out the previous month. I am going to post June’s empties now and its FabuFinds later today. I am still trying to find a sunscreen I finished in July to go in July’s pictures, so I will take a one day break and post July on the 4th. There is something so fulfilling about seeing something empty even though that sometimes mean you have to go out and buy more (assuming you do not already have backups).
I will give you a mini review on each item. I’ll tell you the items I love and will repurchase. If I like or am indifferent to an item, I will not rush out to repurchase, but I would be willing to use or try it again. Lastly, I will present the items that are not for me. Generally, I will not use these any more in the future. If they’re really awful to me, I always hope I can find someone else who may actually like them. Thus, I will try to find someone to give duplicates to. For the items that I really love, I will do a separate product spotlight on them at some point to discuss them in more detail.
