The Julep Subscription Box Program Canceled Effective February 15th, 2019 But Legacy Maven Benefits Continue

When I received the email that the Julep Maven subscription program ended on February 15, 2019, I was sad. I knew it was possible when I reviewed my February 2019 Julep Maven Box and even mentioned it in that article, but I had hope that everything would work out. Sadly, the subscription program is gone. Julep was one of the few subscription boxes that allowed members to select all items that went inside the box, and all the items were full-size. Getting the items for a fraction of the price of purchasing them for the shop placed inside the box made the boxes very valuable. Allowing members to skip boxes made it even more desirable. It really was ahead of its time. Who knows, maybe it can return someday, and I will be ready to subscribe again if it has the same benefits it had before.

Julep Maven February 2018 Subscription Box Review

Julep Maven is a subscription program. While Julep started as a nail polish brand, it expanded to include a large variety of beauty products. Members get to select the items they want inside their boxes so there are no surprises. Mavens can stick to nail polish, try products from the ever-growing beauty line, or both in their monthly Julep subscription boxes. Products are always full-sized. Many of these beauty products are just as incredible as 5-free nail polish the brand offers. As a nail polish lover, I can say with certainty that these polishes chip less than most brands. A Maven membership helps subscribers get full-size products for a fraction of the cost to purchase them separately. They are quality polishes so I would probably purchase them at $14 each even if I did not have my Maven membership. The color selections and polish finishes are more vast than almost any other nail polish line. Almost every month, Julep releases seven new colors (and at times re-release 1-2 from the vault).

Tips For Getting the Best Deal When Shopping Julep

Julep canceled its subscription program on February 15, 2019, which was a fantastic way to save money. There are still some tips for getting the best deal at Julep I can offer. Anyone who had a Maven subscription when the program ended was grandfathered into the Maven deals listed below other than the box itself and the Jules, which were eliminated. I removed the information regarding the subscription box and Jules once they were canceled.

Subscription Box Finds – Is Joining a Subscription Box Right For You?

I love sampling new things. The thought of discovering my latest and greatest FabuFind is always with me. There are items I adore and will probably always repurchase, but trying new things gives me the chance to find things I love even more. My sample obsession started with purchasing packaged sets. These usually contain items I really want to try or items I’ve tried in the past and need more time with. Sometimes, you find sets that are great values, so it is actually cheaper to purchase them if you really want most or all the items in the set. Although I still purchase sample sets, there is something surprisingly welcome about not knowing what I will get. Subscription Boxes seemed like the logical step to try items I had not considered.

Julep February 2016 Box Review Featuring Freebie Hartleigh

When it comes to nail polish, I am a huge fan of Julep’s five free formula. These polishes chip less than most, and the polishes themselves are a good deal when you have a Maven membership. They are quality polishes, so I would probably purchase them at $14 each if I did not have my Maven membership. Luckily, I do not have to pay that much. The color selections and polish finishes are more vast than almost any other nail polish line. Every month, they release nine new colors (unless they re-release one or two from the vault). I have not skipped a box since I first subscribed in May 2014, because I find something I want every month. More often than not, the nail polishes are what draw me in, but I like to try Julep’s beauty products as well.

Julep March 2015 Color of the Year, Marsala

I have not skipped a box since I first subscribed in May 2014, because I find something I want every month. More often than not, the nail polishes are what draw me in, but I like to try Julep’s beauty products as well. The Maven selection window for March opened on 02/20/15. It was the first box I was going to skip. With everything going on in my personal life, I was not in a shopping mood. When I logged in to skip, I saw a Marsala lipstick in my box. Some of you may know that I really wanted the Sephora Pantone Marsala lipstick, but it sold out before I could get my hands on it.

Julep July 2015 Shimmer and Moisture

When it comes to nail polish, I am a huge fan of Julep’s five free formula.  I find these polishes chip less than most, and the polishes themselves are a good deal when you have a Maven membership.  They are quality polishes, so I would probably purchase them at $14 each if I did not have my Maven membership.  Luckily, I do not have to pay that much.  The color selections and polish finishes are more vast than almost any other nail polish line.  Every month, they release nine new colors.  My goal is to actually catalog all of my polishes at some point, so I can compare all the different colors.  A line with nine colors released every month is bound to have repeats with different labels.

I have not skipped a single Julep box since I first subscribed in May 2014, because I find something I want every month.  More often than not, the nail polishes are what draw me in, but I like to try Julep’s beauty products as well.  My March, April, May, and June boxes will get reviews of their own later.  For now, I am writing about the July box.  July was all about jelly polishes and moisture.
