Empties: Finished Product Reviews Winter 2019

It’s time to review my empty products from Winter 2019. By the time I’ve finished something, I know exactly how I feel about it, so I prefer reviews of empties to first impressions. These are the items I finished during the winter of 2019. For items I neither love nor hate, I am always willing to try them again, but I will not seek them out. This generally means I will only try them again if they are: free, on sale, or in a set (sets are a great way to get a deal as long as the value of the items you want to try exceed the cost you are paying). Empties from my December and February Foil Challenge are not here, because I wanted to avoid redundancy. The pH of products I’ve tested this season are below. Visit the pH article for info on how I test and a list of everything I’ve tested.

Target $5 Gift Card with a $20 Beauty Purchase May 2016

Target is offering a $5 gift card with a $20 beauty purchase through 05/07/16. The gift card will automatically load into your cart with an online purchase. It ships separately after your items ship or after you pick them up (if you choose the ship to store option). Online shipping is free with a $25 purchase minimum. In store, text BEAUTY to Target (827438) to receive the bar code the cashier needs to scan. This discount applies to hair care, cosmetics, soap, body wash, skin care, sun care, shave care, deodorant, fragrance, and oral care, so hitting the minimum is easy. I went shopping with my husband and noticed the items we were getting were over $40, so he paid for some and I paid for others. We each got a $5 gift card. I like to give these gift cards to my sons’ teachers to help them with all the extra supplies they buy throughout the year.

Empties September 2015

The beginning of the new month to me always represents closing out the previous month. I will give you a mini review on each item. I’ll tell you the items I love and will repurchase. If I like or am indifferent to an item, I will not rush out to repurchase, but I would be willing to use or try it again. Lastly, I will present the items that are not for me. Generally, I will not use these any more in the future. If they’re really awful to me, I always hope I can find someone else who may actually like them. Thus, I will try to find someone to give duplicates to. For the items that I really love, I will do a separate product spotlight on them at some point to discuss them in more detail.

Empties August 2015

The beginning of the new month to me always represents closing out the previous month. I am going to post August’s empties now and its FabuFinds later today. Now that I am all caught up, I will post the September Empties and Fabufinds on October 1st as scheduled. There is something so fulfilling about seeing something empty even though that sometimes mean you have to go out and buy more (assuming you do not already have backups).
