Empties: Finished Product Reviews Spring 2019

It’s time to review my empty products from Spring 2019. By the time I’ve finished something, I know exactly how I feel about it, so I prefer reviews of empties to first impressions. These are the items I finished during the spring of 2019. For items I neither love nor hate, I am always willing to try them again, but I will not seek them out. This generally means I will only try them again if they are: free, on sale, or in a set (sets are a great way to get a deal as long as the value of the items you want to try exceed the cost you are paying). Empties from my April and June Foil Challenge are not here, because I wanted to avoid redundancy. The pH of products I’ve tested this season are below. Visit the pH article for info on how I test and a list of everything I’ve tested.

FabFitFun 2019 Starter Box Review – The New Box For April

See the latest box, FabFitFun Starter Box 16 Fall 2019.

I am here for the latest 2019 FabFitFun Starter Box Review. This is the second variation I’ve reviewed this year. The photos and products belong to one of the people I sent a Starter Box to. Two of these are products I love, and I think the other two look amazing. I do not have any starter boxes, but I will update this if that changes. Keep reading to see what you might get or to get some questions answered if you’ve received an invitation elsewhere. Whenever I get these invites, the person I send the box to gets it for free if s/he pays the $5 shipping charge. Anyone who does not cancel will automatically move to a seasonal subscription on the 21st day after the $5 gets charged. Either a Seasonal box (if there are any left) or an Editor’s box would start the official subscription.

Winter 2019 FabFitFun Editor’s Box Review (2018) and a Subscription Box Offer

FabFitFun released its 2019 Winter Editor’s Box in the Edit Sale that ran from December, 26th, 2018 through January 6th, 2019 calling it the Winter 2018 Editor’s Box. My issue with that is it was not even available when the sale opened on the 26th. How can the Editor Box be for Winter 2018 when Winter 2018 was basically over before anyone could purchase it? I purchased mine on January 7th, which was the first day it opened with customization options in the shop. The ability to customize is the main reason I grab it, so I will not grab it from the Edit Sale. Most items are repeats from past boxes, so we can customize to get more of the items we loved and avoid some of the ones we didn’t.

Empties: Finished Product Reviews Fall 2018

I can’t believe we are only eight days into winter, because it has been so cold here for a while. Either this year was one of the coldest fall seasons ever or it just affected me more than it usually does. It could also be this sickness that is jading me.

I love reviewing my empty products, because I usually know by the time I’ve finished something how I feel about it. Reviews based on first impressions can change, so empty product reviews are much more comprehensive. These are most of the items I finished during the fall of 2018. A few always slip through. For items that I neither love nor hate, I am always willing to try them again, but I will not seek them out. This generally means I will only try them again if they are: free, on sale, or in a set (sets are a great way to get a deal as long as the value of the items you want to try exceed the cost you are paying). Empties from my October and December Foil Challenge are not here, because I wanted to avoid the redundancy. The pH of products I’ve tested this season are below. Visit the pH article for info on how I test and a list of everything I’ve tested.

FabuFinds: Product Spotlight Summer 2018

After I review my Empty Products, I like to take a little extra time to go over the standouts. These FabuFinds are products I love so much they seem like they’re made for me. They are items I would repurchase, even without a deal. Items I am loving but cannot finish any time soon make it into Deal Discoveries. To eventually spotlight all of my FabuFinds, I will never repeat items already mentioned in a past article. That does not mean they lost their magic. It is also possible an item not spotlighted in a past Empties article may get promoted as I try it more and fall deeper in love. Over time, past FabuFinds may get demoted as I find things I love even more. There are four products I consider FabuFinds in my Summer 2018 Empties that I have not discussed yet.

Empties: Finished Product Reviews Summer 2018

I love reviewing my empty products, because I usually know by the time I’ve finished something how I feel about it. FabFitFun Fall 2018 Editor’s Box Review

When the recent Edit Sale opened to seasonal subscribers, I noticed the Fall 2018 Editor’s Boxes had the Skyn Iceland Peel instead of the headphones. I purchased that peel as an add-on with the Fall Box, because I want to try it. Getting a second one before I even try the first did not really appeal to me. My youngest son was jealous of the wireless headphones my oldest son got from the Fall box, so I was happy when I saw a Facebook video showing they were in the Editor’s Box. As they were the main thing I was after, that single change from what I saw on Facebook versus the box in the Edit Sale was enough to pass. Fast forward past the Edit Sale. On a random check in the Shop, I noticed the headphones were back. It seems like the Skyn Iceland Peel is only available now for anyone from Alaska or Hawaii due to shipping restrictions. That meant it was time to order the box and surprise my youngest with his own headphones.

pH (Potential Hydrogen) List of Products I’ve Tested

Want to know the pH of products? At the end of each season, I will conduct pH (Potential Hydrogen) tests on all empty products that still have liquid in them and compile a master list here. The pH of each product will also appear behind the review of each empty article the product appears in. Type the product name into the search bar to find the corresponding article for the review. It is possible I will occasionally test products that are not yet empty. Place your testing request in the comments. I will test it if it is a product I own, and it is already opened. Opening and/or purchasing a product just to test it is not something I will usually do, because the expiration countdown starts the moment the product opens.

Birchbox Limited Edition Box Millennial Time Capsule Review

Limited Edition Boxes are my favorite items to purchase from Birchbox. These are a mixture of full and sample sized items that usually fit a specific box theme. All boxes have a value far greater than the cost so they are a great deal when the items you want to keep exceed the value of what you’re paying. Better boxes sell out quickly, but the ones that linger will occasionally pop up in the sale section for 30% off. Aces sometimes get 40% off on sale items. Predicting which ones will sell out is not always easy so I buy the ones I really want close to the release date. If you’re on the fence because of price, wait it out.
