A new 2019 Ulta Beauty Stars Event for Favorite Moisturizers and Serums Picked Just For You starts today, March 29th and runs through Monday, April 1st. Like the March 2019 Beauty Stars Event from earlier this month, it offers 5x points on select products to UltaMate members. Platinum and Diamond members get 7x points on the same products. See the article for all 5x, 7x points offers. There was only one Beauty Stars event in 2017, in November. We got 2 in 2018, which were in March and November. This is already the second one for 2019, so things are looking up (even though the multiplier went from 10x to the 7x points for the Platinum and Dimond tiers). Giving us more events each year gives members more chances to partake.
The first 2019 offer at Ulta for 2x points on anything for Ultamate members, 3x points on anything for Platinum members, and 4x points on anything for Diamond members went out today. While there are a lot of Bonus Point Offers and point multipliers, this article will only go over this specific Bonus Points offer. Every time I see this 2x points, 3x points, 4x points promotion in 2019, I will update this article. See the 2018 2x points, 3x points, 4x points article to see when these offers went out last year. This promotion usually repeats at least five times a year, but we saw it six times in 2018. Since the first offer from 2018 lines up perfectly with the first offer this year, there is a good chance the pattern will continue.
Every time I see a new Diamond Perk in 2019, I will update this article. These are special offers that are only available for Diamond members. A Diamond member spends at least $1200 a year to maintain status. Any offer open to Platinum and Diamond members is only mentioned in the Platinum Perks article. That is the best way to see the differences between the tiers. This is a tracking article, so we can look at past offers to predict future ones. I do not remove old offers, so look at the offer dates before trying any. They get posted in reverse chronological order, so only the ones on top are ever recent. If you are a Platinum or Diamond member who did not receive emails on these promotions, you might have email issues. Contact Ulta if this problem persists. Diamond Beauty Bag offers get tracked separately, but I do briefly mention them below.
Ulta releases so many beauty bags during the year that I split up the 2019 beauty bag articles into Diamond Perk Beauty Bags (available to Diamond members), General Beauty Bags (listed in the GWP section), Affiliate Beauty Bags (available to anyone who happens upon an affiliate post), Ulta Beauty Collection Beauty Bags, Platinum Perk Beauty Bags (available to Platinum and Diamond members), Friday Summer Treats, Skinfatuation Offers, and Beauty Breaks (4-6 hour offers). There are also targeted GWP Coupons (I receive on my account and share). Every time I see a Diamond Perk beauty bag though 2019, I will update this article. This bag full of deluxe and full-sized items is usually available with a $125 to $175 purchase. Platinum Beauty Bags release four times a year, but these Diamond Bags may release less often even once the program has a full year under its belt. Whenever I redeem one, I will write a separate article and link it to the offer below. Other Diamond Perks tracked in a different article. Sign into your Diamond account, add the bag, purchase enough products to reach the minimum threshold for the bag, and the cost of the bag will drop to zero.

The Diamond Rewards level officially launched at Ulta on January, 16, 2018. As someone who made a large purchase on January 1st thanks to the incredible Platinum Perks that day, I assure you that every purchase from January 1st going forward counted toward the spend requirement for this year. It just took the system a couple of weeks to get ready. Since this level did not exist in 2017, only those who qualified in 2018 have Diamond status. This means 2017 spend was not taken into account. Though I did see some who spent over $1200 last year mention they received Diamond status after complaining, I chose not to take that route. That means, I spent the first five months of this year in Platinum status. On 06/04/18, I crossed over to Diamond when I surpassed $1200 in spending this year. Ulta was out of welcome boxes, so I only received mine recently.
See the 2019 5x points on specific brands and products, and all 2019 Ulta Beauty Promotions, Deals, Coupons, GWP, Sales, and Events. I will start the 2019 5x points on anything article once the first offer releases.
Every time Ulta Beauty has a 5x points on anything offer in 2018, I will update this article. Scroll down to see when we received these offers in 2017 (to predict when the next one will arrive in 2018). This is the first time in 2018 we saw a blanket offer for all products, but there have been plenty of 5x points targeted offers on specific products. I track those as well. We have already had a 10x points offer (on select products this year), will see another one next month, and will likely see another one in November. We have also seen multiple 2x, 3x, and 4x points offers this year and will see more of those as well.
Prior to 2017, there was only a single 10x points event each year on the 3rd or 4th Monday in August. That meant one article each year was enough. Although these 10x points events are big enough to deserve a dedicated article, I want to keep a master list so all the events get tracked in one place. When I write a separate article for an event, I will link it below. Details on each event will only go in their respective articles. This will be a general overview of all the 10x points offers for 2018. Since the first mini 10x points event in November 2017 and the latest event, which started today, it is clear Ulta plans on doing more mini events in the future. They are still too new to predict patterns. All we know with certainty now is we have a dedicated larger event in August and will get mini events other times throughout the year. Will the events be around the same time each year? How many mini events can we expect? Only time will tell. As this is 4 months after the first one, it would be nice to see another one 4 months from now. That would give us a mini event a month before the major event so I am unsure if it will come to pass.
It’s after midnight Central time, which means Ulta’s latest offer is live. There is a 10x points event today, March 2nd through Sunday, March 5th. This is the second mini 10x points promotion in UltaMate Rewards History. The main event takes place once a year on the 3rd or 4th Monday of the August, and it only lasts one day. These mini events, like the first one we ever saw in November 2017, span over more than one day. Since the Diamond Rewards program did not officially launch until January 16th of this year, it is the first time Diamond members get to partake in a 10x points event. All products in this promotion are available to all members. See all 10x points events for 2018.
I officially crossed over to Diamond status on June 4th, 2018, so all Diamond rewards after that date are listed below. Prior to that, I only listed the ones received in Platinum emails telling me what I could have received if I was Diamond. Any offer from January 16th through June 4th where only Diamond members got notified is not below. Had Ulta counted my 2017 spend toward the new status, I would have started as Diamond instead of waiting an extra five months. For complete details on the Diamond tier, refer to my Diamond Benefits article. Diamond Beauty Bag offers are tracked separately.
With UltaMate Rewards, Ulta Beauty already has the most rewarding loyalty program in the beauty community, but learning more about how to earn and redeem points can take your savings to the next level. By only spending points when they are worth the most and stacking as many bonus points and multipliers as possible, your return on investment could easily multiply from what you’ve received in the past. The most important step to maximizing your savings potential and making the most out of the program is to learn when to redeem. Once you’ve done that, learning how to maximize earnings will get you to redemption faster.
