There is an event between the seasonal subscription boxes called the FabFitFun Edit Sale, and this article will cover my FabFitFun Winter 2019 Edit Sale review. This is a subscriber only event where FabFitFun members can shop for items discounted 25%-70% off. For those who love add-ons, this is akin to purchasing add-ons without a subscription box. It also means subscribers who are not interested in any items or need a break for financial reasons can just sit this out. For mainland US subscribers who choose to shop, they get free shipping with a $25 purchase. Like add-ons, you add the items you want to your cart throughout the sale and only pay for the ones that are still in your cart once the event wraps. The event ran from December 26th, 2018 through January 6th, 2019 and everyone got charged for their items on January 7th.
FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription. It puts out one box per season. Boxes have over $200 in value. The items are always full-sized and include products from: beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness lines. Subscribers can either pay $179.99 for an annual subscription ($20 off when buying 4 boxes up front) or $49.99 for a Seasonal subscription. Shipping is free, but sales tax gets charged (in certain states). There is usually a code to receive $10 off your first seasonal box. Those codes are fffa2p6 or FAB10. Members can select add-ons at deeply discounted prices to include with their boxes. All subscribers get to customize choice options, but only Annual Subscribers (select members) can select colors or designs on select products.

FabFitFun held its first ever Edit Sale from April 9th through April 15th. It was a subscriber only sale where FabFitFun sold items from past boxes, past add-ons, and new items for 25-70% off. Annual subscribers had first access starting on the 9th, and seasonal subscribers got to shop the sale starting on the 11th. This was held at the same time it usually runs the warehouse sale, but there was a change in format to go along with the change in name. In the past, the Warehouse sale was similar to the Capsule Sale. The major difference was the Warehouse Sale could have anything, but the Capsule Sale would only have items related to its specific theme. The New Year Sale, Valentine’s Sale, and Made in America Sale are examples of a Capsule Sale. Another difference is the Warehouse Sale happened once after each season and the Capsule Sale could pop-up any time. During a Capsule Sale or the old Warehouse Sale, you pay for items as you go, but you are free to place multiple orders throughout the event. All orders you place ship separately so each order is subject to the $25 free shipping minimum.
There are so many products I fall in love with but will take a while to finish. Instead of waiting until I can mention them in a FabuFinds article or waiting to see if they make the Top 10 of the Year, I want to go over items from my Core Collection. These are items I consider great deals (even at full-price, although I will still try to get them with a deal). If I ever finish them, I will probably name them FabuFinds and replace ones that do not already have back-ups. Sometimes, they are items I’ve had for a while and just tried or items I tried in the past but love more upon rediscovery. Occasionally, I purchase items I love that do not fit into an article other than this one. When I try something from a recent acquisition where I wrote an article, I will always edit a mini review into the original article (love, hate, or anything in between) or mention it in an Empties article (if I finish it quickly). A single product review in the original article will not always depict how much I love it compared with other items I tried that month. Twenty-one days is a long time, because the 21 Days of Beauty at Ulta are still running through this Saturday. Read tips for the sale. There are two events happening today that I am partaking in. The first is a steal in today’s event. I’ve tried two of the three It Cosmetics For Ulta Brushes I purchased during the recent 10x points event. I loved both, so I really want to try the $15 brush that usually retails for $30. Jane Park, the Julep Founder, will have a Live Chat from 10am-11am PST this morning. Julep polishes represent well over half of my 400 polishes, and I have a healthy stash of other beauty products from the brand. They’re my favorite, and I find Jane charming and endearing. She was incredibly kind and wonderful at her recent Maven Meet-Up, and I really appreciate that she took the time to “take me to the airport.”
