When Target was still sending free samples, I received a free full-size Nature Made Kid’s First Multivitamin Daily Nutritional Support Gummies. I randomly check the free sample link, because there is never any notice when a new sample pops up. They go really quickly, too, so you have to get lucky and check it at the right time to get something. A couple of days before this published I noticed that the link no longer works. There is not a new link either. If Target updates the link for free samples, I will update it here, on my Target Page, and on my Free Samples Page. It is completely possible Target eliminated the free sample section, but I will leave the link up until I confirm it will not return. Since Walmart redesigned its link, I have not found any free samples at the bottom of that page either. Hopefully, the samples did not dry up, because I love getting free samples from two large companies I trust.
How do you get the best deal at Beauty.com and Drugstore.com? Deal stacking at Beauty.com is less complicated, but it is possible at Drugstore.com with a little effort. I’ve never seen a guide for getting the best deal for either retailer (even though one may exist). Putting everything I can think of in one place to make deal shopping a little easier seemed like a great idea, because the site is not the easiest to navigate and does not make deal searching easy. A lot of deals are link activated, and the links are temperamental. Dealing with these temperamental links is challenging, but there are ways around it. There are always new things to learn, so I will edit this any time I discover something new. Details scare some people. If you’re scared of detail, click that little X and back out now. Do not say I did not warn you!
Every month, I review my empty products. Some products are not worth thinking about once the month is over. Others are wonderful and seem like they’re made for me. Those are FabuFinds, and I generally devote a little more time to discussing them. They are items I have repurchased and will continue to repurchase even at full price if I could not find a good promo code.
To eventually spotlight all of my FabuFinds, I will never repeat items already mentioned in a past article. That does not mean they lost their magic. It is also possible an item not spotlighted in a past Empties article may get promoted as I try it more and fall deeper in love. Other times, it is because I had a lot of FabuFinds in a previous month and had to condense the article. There were two products I consider FabuFinds in my October Empties that I have not discussed yet.
When it comes to shopping, I love benefits. Beauty.com and Drugstore.com not only offer rewards, but they share a cart. That means I can purchase from both sides of the store in one order with just a simple click of the mouse to switch sites. It makes hitting the $35 free shipping minimum a lot easier. Having a $35 shipping minimum is already lower than most stores, but I can add a cheap item from the Drugstore.com side when you Beauty.com side is a little short of $35.
If you purchase one item from the Beauty.com side, you also get to select three beauty samples. There are times when I add a Beauty.com item to a Drugstore.com order when I want the samples. I’ve placed a lot of orders from Beauty.com, and can almost assure you that you will get the samples you order. Unlike some stores, I’ve never received substitutes. If the samples arrive, they will be what you ordered. You get 5% back on everything you buy rewarded as a store credit every quarter. They give you the first month of every quarter to redeem your rewards earned from the previous quarter meaning I had from 04/01/15 through 04/30/15 to redeem the rewards I earned from 01/01/15-03/31/15. Every quarter resets.
