I am here for the latest 2019 FabFitFun Starter Box Review. This is the second variation I’ve reviewed this year. The photos and products belong to one of the people I sent a Starter Box to. Two of these are products I love, and I think the other two look amazing. If I have any Starter Box Invitations to send, I will update this message. Keep reading to see what you might get or to get some questions answered if you’ve received a starter box invitation elsewhere. Whenever I get these invites, the person I send the box to gets it for free if s/he pays the $5 shipping charge. Anyone who does not cancel will automatically move to a seasonal subscription on the 21st day after the $5 gets charged. Either a Seasonal box (if there are any left) or an Editor’s box would start the official subscription.
My FabFitFun Spring 2019 Edit Sale Haul Review is ready. There is an event between the seasonal subscription boxes called the FabFitFun Edit Sale. This is a subscriber only event where FabFitFun members can shop for items discounted 25%-70% off. For those who love add-ons, this is akin to purchasing add-ons without a subscription box. It also means subscribers who are not interested in any items or need a break for financial reasons can just sit this out. For mainland US subscribers who choose to shop, they get free shipping with a $25 purchase. Like add-ons, you add the items you want to your cart throughout the sale and only pay for the ones that are still in your cart once the event wraps. The event runs from April 2nd through April 9th, 2019 and everyone gets charged for their items on April 10th.
My FabFitFun Spring Editor’s 2019 Box review is ready. Spoiler alert, I love it so much that I purchased two. FabFitFun released its 2019 Spring Editor’s Box in the Edit Sale (which starts tomorrow). This usually pops up in the shop after the Edit Sale wraps, so I appreciated the opportunity to buy it with the options I wanted without waiting for the Edit Sale to wrap first. I ordered mine today. The Spring 2019 FabFitFun Box is still available for purchase, so new members will likely start with that box. Existing members can purchase the Spring 2019 FabFitFun Editor’s Box, as I did, for $49.99 (each). These boxes arrived on the 11th, which was only 10 days after I ordered them.
My Spring 2019 FabFitFun subscription box review is ready! FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription that puts out one box per season. Boxes have over $200 in value. The items are always full-sized and include products from: beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness lines. Subscribers can either pay $179.99 for an annual subscription ($20 off when buying 4 boxes up front) or $49.99 for a Seasonal subscription. Shipping is free, but sales tax gets charged (in certain states). There is usually a code to receive $10 off your first seasonal box. Those codes are fffa2p6 and FAB10. Members can select add-ons at deeply discounted prices to include with their boxes. All subscribers get to customize some choice options, but Annual Subscribers (select members) get extra choices.

FabFitFun sent out another round of starter box invitations for me to send. One of the people I sent the 2019 FabFitFun starter boxes to texted me photos, so I can share them with you. I’ve already used most of these products, so I can also review the box. I do not have any starter boxes to send, but I will update this if that changes. Keep reading to see what you might get or to get some questions answered if you’ve received an invitation elsewhere. Whenever I get these invites, the person I send the box to gets it for free if s/he pays the $5 shipping charge. FabFitFun released its 2019 Winter Editor’s Box in the Edit Sale that ran from December, 26th, 2018 through January 6th, 2019 calling it the Winter 2018 Editor’s Box. My issue with that is it was not even available when the sale opened on the 26th. How can the Editor Box be for Winter 2018 when Winter 2018 was basically over before anyone could purchase it? I purchased mine on January 7th, which was the first day it opened with customization options in the shop. The ability to customize is the main reason I grab it, so I will not grab it from the Edit Sale. Most items are repeats from past boxes, so we can customize to get more of the items we loved and avoid some of the ones we didn’t.
Every time the FabFitFun Edit Sale opens in 2019, I will screenshot all of them in this article. What is the Edit Sale? The Edit Sale is a quarterly sales event for subscribers after it finishes sending out the seasonal boxes. Items in the Edit Sale come from past boxes, past add-ons, and new items for 25-70% off. You can add up to 3 of any item to your cart. Once the sale wraps, you will get charged for any items in your cart, so you can add or drop items without checking out throughout the event. Items ship up to 2 weeks after your card gets charged. Orders over $25 get free shipping for mainland US shoppers.
When the add-ons opened up for the Winter 2018 Box, I noticed FabFitFun was offering a Men’s Gift Box for $49.99. It is the FabFitFun for Him 2019 Edition. That gave me the opportunity to get my husband a FabFitFun box of his own. I decided to show the contents to him before purchasing it instead of surprising him, because there were a couple of things I was unsure of. After looking, he assured me that he would probably try everything but the dopp kit. He already loves the dopp kit he owns. With 7 items inside, I figured it was still worth the purchase if he tried six. Besides, my 12-year-old (he was 11 when I ordered this but 12 when it arrived) does not have a dopp kit of his own yet. Everything inside this set would stay in the family making it a great purchase decision. While I am unsure if this was FabFitFun testing the waters to see if it could release a Men’s Box on a regular basis, its first release was a success with us. We would consider buying more, because my husband finally likes trying new things.
My favorite shopping event of the year is finally here. This weekend, which kicks before Thanksgiving with some retailers, provides some of the best deals we will see. Traditionally, this is the weekend where most retailers cross over from red to black, and they will do whatever it takes to earn your shopping dollars. Offers are competitive, because almost every retailer will have one. I will update this every time I see an incredible offer through Cyber Monday, so this list will grow over the week. My tastes might vary from yours, so make sure you sign up for emails from all of your favorite retailers. It is also a good idea to check multiple blogs and sites to see what each of them feel is worth mentioning this season. Most of these offers go out to all customers. Of course, there might be some affiliate exclusives or offers targeted to select customers. I am not listing any small offers, because this is the time of year when we can stretch our budget further by scoring just the right deal. Some big offers will not make the cut either, because I cannot list them all.
When the recent Edit Sale opened to seasonal subscribers, I noticed the Fall 2018 Editor’s Boxes had the Skyn Iceland Peel instead of the headphones. I purchased that peel as an add-on with the Fall Box, because I want to try it. Getting a second one before I even try the first did not really appeal to me. My youngest son was jealous of the wireless headphones my oldest son got from the Fall box, so I was happy when I saw a Facebook video showing they were in the Editor’s Box. As they were the main thing I was after, that single change from what I saw on Facebook versus the box in the Edit Sale was enough to pass. Fast forward past the Edit Sale. On a random check in the Shop, I noticed the headphones were back. It seems like the Skyn Iceland Peel is only available now for anyone from Alaska or Hawaii due to shipping restrictions. That meant it was time to order the box and surprise my youngest with his own headphones.

I cannot believe add-on selection for Fall 2018 opened to everyone today, because I received this order from the Edit Sale less than two weeks ago. Customization also opened yesterday. If you have not already made your selections, do that soon. FabFitFun held its Summer 2018 Edit Sale from July 9th through July 16th. It was a subscriber only sale where FabFitFun sold items from past boxes, past add-ons, and new items for 25-70% off. Annual subscribers had first access starting on the 9th, and seasonal subscribers got to shop the sale starting on the 12th. Under the Edit Sale, subscribers fill their carts throughout the event. A full day after the sale wraps, subscribers get charged for everything in their carts, tax in applicable states, and shipping (if their orders fall under $25). Items ship ten days after the charge gets processed (it is usually faster than this).
The FabFitFun Mystery Bundles have intrigued me. Even though I love poker, I am not much of a gambler. It is a shame I cannot bring myself to gamble, because I am a very good poker player. No, I am not joking, and no, I do not feel the need to act humble. Anyway, I do gamble with beauty products in the form of Subscription Boxes. Most subscription boxes are a gamble. I hand over my money and the subscription service gives me products it thinks I want. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t, and other times I am not sure what I want. You never know when you initially think you’ve received a dud only to discover a gem or vice versa. There are a few subscription boxes where I actually get to pick my items, like Julep, but most are like FabFitFun where they pick all the items or let me have small choices from items they’ve selected. Since I gamble on subscription boxes, why shouldn’t I gamble on Mystery Bundles? It’s the same concept, right?
When the recent Edit Sale opened to seasonal subscribers, I noticed the Summer 2018 Editor’s Boxes were not included. They did not appear in the Shop either. Thankfully, I was able to track them down, because I wanted a few items inside. Ordering through the direct link gave me a chance to select 3 of the 8 items, which really can make or break a box. All three are items I already owned and want more of. Two of them were items I received from FabfitFun. Getting them inside a box gives them to me at a huge discount. Three of the items vary. The last two were static, so everyone who ordered the box received those. Once my order arrived, I had three brand new products, one duplicate of a product I purchased at Ulta, and four products I received in the Winter 2017, Spring 2018, and Summer 2018 boxes.
When the recent Edit Sale opened to seasonal subscribers on the 11th, I noticed FabFitFun was selling the Spring 2018 Editor’s Boxes. I had not even seen what was in them yet so I decided to take a look. It looked amazing, but ordering through the Edit Sale would have left it up to FabFitFun employees to pick four of my eight items. The other four are static so I have no choice. Three of the static four are products I received in the Winter 2017 and Spring 2018 boxes. Two of those were products I really would not mind duplicates of, and getting a duplicate of the third meant I could gift it to someone. I decided to see if it was available for separate purchase in the shop. Ordering outside of the Edit Sale allowed me to select all four of the choice items. That is better than the two I usually get to select as a seasonal subscriber. Items I purchased in the Edit Sale will get a separate haul article once the items arrive.
It meant the box would be even better suited to me, because every single option was an easy decision for me. There were clear winners in every category. The Editor’s Boxes are not included with your subscription, but they are available for the same $49.99 as a subscription box. This gives subscribers the option to buy the ones they like and skip the ones they don’t. There is an Editor’s Box for every season. Each Editor’s Box has items from past boxes so purchasing them is a great way for new members to catch up or established members to get duplicates of past items they loved. While I still think the Winter 2017 box was my favorite, I like the Editor’s Box with my choices a lot more than I liked the Spring 2018 box.
