Influenster Reviewer’s Choice Beauty Box

I usually do not write an article on beauty boxes I am not purchasing or reviewing, unless it is a grab or pass where I always suggest passing. Otherwise, I would write a review after purchasing it making a grab or pass redundant, but this deserves an exception. This box released in November (according to this video), but I just got an email on it from Influenster yesterday. If Influenster sent me an email on this earlier, I completely missed it. Influenster, the company that grew by providing free products in exchange for social sharing and reviews, is selling a huge box of beauty products. The Influenster Reviewers’ Choice Beauty Box claims it has over $300 in value. It retails for $50. With a gap in the market left when the Allure Beauty Thrills box exited, this is especially welcome. This box even comes with free shipping where I was always annoyed that the other did not. Even better, Influenstore is on ebates. With a 10% cash back offer, anyone who purchases this will get $5 back from ebates.

ebates In Store Cash Back – More Stores Added, Including Sephora

See all 2019 Sephora Promotions, Sales, GWP, Deals, Discount Codes, and Events.

For those who are not familiar with ebates, I have an article going over it and five other Pay-to-Shop programs I recommend. Those who are familiar with ebates but not In-store cash back, I have an article going over that as well. This article is just a reminder to use this amazing perk of being an ebates member. It is also an alert that more stores are participating (and are constantly added). The list of stores revolves, but there are usually at least 30. In-store cash back is an easy way to make money. As long as you remember to set up the offer (simply by entering or activating the card you plan to make the purchase with) before shopping, you should get cash back. It removes the linked offer from your account after a qualifying purchase so you will need to link it again if it is a store you shop at often. I’ve received my cash back on every in-store purchase I’ve qualified for, but you could always file an inquiry if you did not receive yours, just as you can for missing online transactions.

ebates In Store Cash Back

More stores were added to the in-store cash back option for ebates. If you’re already using ebates for online shopping, it takes a few extra steps to take advantage of in store offers. As I mentioned at the end of last year in my Get Paid To Shop Online article, this program is still in the pilot stage. It’s been running for less than a year. In that time, I’ve used linked cards on offers twice. Within a few days of each purchase, I received an email from ebates stating I was getting cash back for my in-store purchases. The credit came in within 2-3 days after receiving the email on both. This is a relatively painless process, but it does take a little time.

HSN New Customer Offer $20 off a $40 Purchase and a beautyblender® Benefit Apply & Perfect 4-piece Kit

I remember when I was younger, I used to watch HSN and feel the need to purchase everything. It always seemed to have so much stuff I never knew I needed. Over the years, they’ve expanded their items to many things I know I need and many more I want. They are wonderful about putting together adorable sets and some of these sets are a little too irresistible. The one they are discounting today is one I could not pass up.

Beauty Birthday Offer Sephora

2016 Birthday Offer

There are so many retailers with fabulous birthday offers. Do not forget to check the birthday offers before your big day arrives. When I learn of a new offer or a change in offers, I update it. Even though I was not really shopping around my birthday, because life in general got in the way, there were a few Birthday gifts I had to pick up. This one from Sephora is completely free if you pick it up in store or requires a purchase to order online.

I give my birthdate upon retailer request. On 03/01/15, offers started coming in. They continued to roll in throughout March with most of them arriving on my actual birthday, March 15th. Remember to save some of your birthday shopping budget for your actual birthday, because so many offers will not come in until then. For the retailers who send the offers after your birthday, they seriously need to step up their game. As I mention on the birthday offer page, some offers are general. Others are unique. If you try to redeem before you get your own unique code, it will not work. Also, check the main retailer page before placing your orders, because the birthday offers are not always the best available offers.

Ulta 5x Points, and the ebates Affiliate Offer

See 2018 5x Points Offers.

See Affiliate GWP Beauty Bag Offers for 2018.

Ulta has killed it lately with all the free offers, GWP opportunities, point multipliers, and more. There was an ebates affiliate offer for a free 9 piece bag that I was trying to resist. Some of my favorite brands were inside. I also had a 5x points offer for Too Faced, another love. As if the 5x points offer was not enough, I noticed the gift with a $35 Too Faced purchase was an item I’ve wanted to try. Platinum members did not have a shipping minimum this week. Then, I got an offer to add a free They’re Real liner with no minimum purchase. It was too much. Ulta got me again on 06/12/15.

Getting the Best Deal

How do I get the best deal? This is a question I see often. Sometimes it is directed toward specific retailers. Other times it is more of a general probing. Let’s face it. Getting the best deal can be a lot of work. Have you ever been so proud of yourself for doing your research and locking down an incredible deal only to find out you did not get the best deal available? You are not alone. This has happened to me, too. We live and we learn from overpaying. Then, we get more savvy in the future. There are the tricks everyone knows. Subscribe to the retailer’s updates. Do Google searches for promo codes. Use ebates, ShopatHome, Mrrebates, or TopCashBack to get a percentage back on what you order. Of course, you can always visit sites like this one that try to list all known deals in one place. What are you missing though? Can you do anything else?

SAKS Fifth Avenue $50 off a $200 Beauty Purchase, and a Sample Filled Tote

February 18th started like any other day.  My beautiful niece, Sammy, had been in the hospital since the 16th.  Prior to the 16th no one knew anything was wrong with her.  She woke up with swollen limbs, and my sister rushed her to the hospital to find out why.  For two days, the doctors told my sister that her daughter’s heart condition was beyond repair.  From one hospital to the next, my sister was in search of a better trained hospital and a more favorable prognosis.

Every time my sister told me there was no hope, I refused to believe it.  Some might say I was in denial.  After all, she was healthy or so I thought.  I prayed constantly and asked my friends to do the same.  There were leagues of people praying for one little girl to overcome her ailments.
