The Ulta Beauty Birthday gift review 2020 Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II is my first. This is the Ulta Beauty Birthday Gift January 2020 Review. I’ve finished a 0.24oz sample of this in the past, and I loved in then. What I love most about it is that it is thicker than most serums without being overly thick. It gives my dry skin an instant boost of hydration without feeling tacky or sticky. Thicker products at night are great for me, because I want my skin to soak up as much moisture as possible.

I told myself if I ever got multiple samples of this I would try to use it longer term to test its promises as a 0.24oz sample is not long enough to see if it has any long term effects in the skin. What that means for January birthday recipients is I will not know how efficiently it works long term before you need to redeem it. After using a 0.24oz sample before, I did not notice much of a difference in the overall appearance of my skin in terms of lines, wrinkles, age.

What I I did notice is it definitely makes my skin look brighter, and feel softer each time I apply it. In that sense, it gives a more youthful appearance. It’s like Cinderella going to the ball though. The effects wash away with the product. Still a nice product. Just not a miracle worker.

The serum is clear and while it is thick it is not so thick that it will feel tacky or sticky on the skin. It absorbs immediately. Skin feels instantly refreshed and moisturized. Dry skin or not, I would still add a moisturizer on top.

Verdict: If you’re under 25 (or 30 assuming you are genetically gifted), you could probably pass on this one. Otherwise, I would suggest giving it a try. While I do think skincare makes a great gift, I don’t think anyone under 25 really needs this serum. That does not mean you cannot get this serum and use it if you’re under 25. After all, it is free! Just keep in mind, no matter how old you are, you will not get any miracle results from 0.24oz of serum. This is just to show you short term results. You will likely need more time with the product or luck to see long term results before this sample runs out. Happy Birthday January Celebrants!
