How do you activate points on Ulta?

You can activate points directly from the email offer, if you received an email. If you are having trouble receiving email, you can periodically check the My Rewards section of your online account. Any offer you’ve received will be there. I’ve seen offers there I did not get an email on, so it is a good idea to check before placing an order.

Do Bonus Points Offers Combine with Other Point Multipliers?

Bonus points combine with other point multipliers. You calculate what you will earn for the order than add the bonus point points on top of that. For an advanced breakdown on this, read my article on Earning and Redeeming Points.

Do Points Stack at Ulta? 

The short answer is yes. A longer answer is you have to remove the base point from any subsequent offer before combining them, so it as not as simple as adding them together. You also have to remember that your member level bonus does not multiply. Example, You are Platinum and have two 5x Points multipliers. You will get your 0.25 point bonus + 5x points on offer one + 4x points (5-1 to remove the duplicate base) on offer two. That is a total of 9.25x instead of 10x. Can You Redeem Ulta Bonus Points Multiple Times?

You can redeem your bonus points offer as many times as you want until the offer expires. If you get a bonus point offer for 350 points with an $80 purchase and make two $80 purchases after the offer starts but before it expires, you will get the bonus points twice. It keeps working no many how many times you try it. Points get applied within a few hours of shopping or a few hours of shipping (for those who shop online).

How Do I Get Ulta Bonus Points? 

Most Bonus Points Offers are Targeted. Sign up for an UltaMate Rewards account and make some purchases. It takes purchase history to trigger offers. If you do not get an offer via email, check My Bonus Offers. There are times emails fail to come through. For those with purchase history who are constantly excluded, I recommend contacting Ulta.

Why are the Ulta Bonus Point Offers Different? 

Some members will get the same offer and others will get different ones. It is all based on the what Ulta believes will trigger you to make the purchase. The buy-ins for some are really low and some get more points for the same amount spent. If you believe you were low-balled compared to others, refrain from redeeming it and you may receive a better offer next time.

When does Ulta have Bonus Points? 

In 2019, Ulta offered Bonus Points in February, April, June, July, August, September, October, and December. There were also some targeted offers. The first bonus point offer of 2020 came in January. My sons received it on their Bronze accounts, but I did not receive it on my Diamond account.

What is the difference between Ulta Bonus Points and Ulta Point Multipliers? 

Ulta assigns a set number of points when a specific dollar amount is spent or a certain product is purchased with Bonus Points. With an Ulta Point Multiplier, each point gets multiplied by the number of the multiplier and the dollar amount spent.

How do Ulta bonus points work?

If you get an offer for 250 bonus points with a $60 purchase, you will get 250 points on top of any regular points you would earn once you’ve spent at least $60 in a single transaction. The $60 must be before tax and after coupons.

Ulta Bonus Points February 2020 (General Offer 2)

*I received an offer on my Diamond account. One son received an offer on his Bronze account, but the other did not. Their last purchase date is the same.

My younger son, who has a Bronze account, received an offer for 200 bonus points with a $25 purchase. Valid 02/16/20 through 02/23/20.

On my Diamond account, I received an offer for 450 bonus points with a $75 purchase. Valid 02/16/20 through 02/23/20.
