What is a Sephora Rouge Member?

A Sephora VIB (Very Important BeautyInsider) Rouge member is someone who has spent at least $1000 in a calendar year under the Sephora loyalty program, known as Beauty Insider Rewards. This is the top tier within the rewards program, so members within this tier receive the most benefits. 

Is Sephora VIB Rouge Worth It?

The answer is different for everyone, so I’ve complied this list of all Sephora VIB Rouge perks 2020, advertised or not. That should help you decide if Sephora VIB Rouge is worth it to you. How Do I Get the Sephora Rouge Reward?

The Sephora Rouge Reward 2020 is exceptionally hard to grab. Check the Sephora Rewards Bazaar 2020 as close to 9am Tues/Thurs PST as possible. While that is your best shot, I can confirm that it does not only drop at 9am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In 2020, I saw it drop just before 4pm PST on a Thursday. I also track the other Sephora rewards. You might see something you like more.

When are the Sephora Rouge Sales?

The Sephora Spring Bonus usually takes place in April, the Sephora Summer Bonus usually takes place in August, and the Sephora Holiday bonus usually takes place in November. *We may not get an August Sale this year. When the flyer for the April sale went out, it only mentioned the April and November sale.

How Much Can I Save Sephora Rouge Sales?

Sephora VIB Rouge Members get 20% off during the Spring Bonus 2020, the Sephora Summer Bonus 2020, and the Sephora Holiday Bonus 2020. They also get $25 off $75 during the Sephora Holiday Hooray Event 2020. *We may not get an August Sale this year. When the flyer for the April sale went out, it only mentioned the April and November sale.

Sephora Spring Savings Event 2020

 

 

SPRINGSAVE for 20% off from April 17th through May 1st. That is a total of 15 shopping days. This level received received 13 days in 2014 and 10 days in 2015. The number was reduced to 7 shopping days in 2016 and 2017. They got 8 in 2018, and went up to 11 in 2019. Getting 15 days in 2020 is the most the tier has ever received, so this is an improvement.

$100 Sephora Rouge Reward 2020

I did find this $100 Sephora Rouge Reward 2020 in the Rewards Bazaar on 01/02/20, so it’s not all glib for Sephora Rouge customers. It was just before 4pm and available for me to grab. The only reason I didn’t grab it is the press release below (scroll down and zoom in on the photo) makes me think something is happening with the Rewards system on January 15th. Before spending any points, I want to see what it is.

No More Free Sephora Rouge Makeovers 2020

This was a longstanding Rouge perk that was not officially advertised but just known. It was removed in the same notice that is posted below.

No 2020 Sephora Rouge Tier Celebration Gift

I have to start with the painfully obvious. In 2019, Sephora eliminated the tangible Sephora Rouge Welcome Gift and Introduced the Rouge Tier Celebration Gift. It was eliminated altogether in 2020. When one makes Sephora Rouge in 2020, there is no gift, tangible or otherwise. What’s worse is this paper listing off the elimination of the tier celebration gifts makes it seem like free Rouge shipping might also go away when 2020 ends.
