Our Place Always Pan Review

FabFitFun reached out to see if I wanted to review the Our Place Always Pan. Our Place offered to send The Always Pan for free in exchange for my review. I did not accept payment for this review, nor have I ever accepted payment for any review. Cooking is not really my thing, but I am thankfully married to someone who cooks exceptionally well. It made the decision to accept the offer an easy one.

I was given the opportunity to select the Our Place Always Pan color. As I do not cook often, I left that decision to my husband. He selected char, which is essentially a charcoal color. It is the most classic, but I kid you not, I would have selected spice just because its pretty. See the stock photo below of that gorgeous pink. Odds are some those who do the cooking themselves probably selected spice, so I am sure you can see a live review on this somewhere.

The Our Place Always Pan comes with a removable steamer basket and a nesting spatula. Both are as high quality as the pan. What I love about the spoon is it rests perfectly in the handle, so you do not have to store it elsewhere while you are cooking. You also get a sample of a natural sponge with the pan. It starts flat and though it expands, it does not expand to the size of a regular dish sponge. That thinness requires more effort when scrubbing and debris gets caught in the fibers. I would not purchase it.

The Our Place Always Pan retails for $145. It claims to replace an 8-piece cookware set, including a sauté pan, skillet, saucepan, steamer, saucier, chili pot, fryer, and non-stick pan all-in one. All those claims are true, and it has very beautiful craftsmanship. These pans are free of all PFAS and teflon. They are made with eco-packing (recycled and biodegradable). It is important to note this pan cannot go in the oven. That is one thing I did not see on the product page.

You can get 15% off your first order with the code KIMBERLY15. This is not an affiliate code, and I do not make commission from your purchase. The only thing I have or will receive was the Our Place Always Pan and the Our Place Drinking Glasses. I have been using the products for a while now and do stand behind the quality. They are a little pricy, but they are well made and more importantly ethically made. With female and immigrant owners, they are mission-driven and love to give back.

If you want to support the cause but cannot afford the pan, I will also recommend the Our Place Drinking Glasses. I was allowed to pick one item as a thank you for trying out the pan, and I just love the design on these. While $50 is still a lot for 4 drinking glasses, they feel incredibly thick and luxurious. You will not be disappointed.

There are plates and bowls, which go for around the same price as the glasses. They are also quite stunning. I am really in love with the shape of these glasses and feel you can really see it more with the macadamia milk in this glass.

The best part of this, other than getting a free product, was how much my husband cooked for me. He really wanted to test this pan. Pasta Aglio E Olio is a traditional Italian dish from Naples.

It’s spaghetti seasoned with salt, freshly ground black pepper tossed in garlic infused olive oil with parsley, green onions, parmesan, lemon juice, and pepper flakes.

Pasta Cacio E Pepe is a dish commonly found in Central Italy.

It’s spaghetti tossed in butter, freshly ground black pepper, salt, parmesan, and pecorino romano cheeses.

Chicken and Arborio Rice is a specialty of my husband’s.

There is no written down recipe, because it is all in his head.

He was willing to share the ingredients he puts inside.

You can also keep making changes until it’s done.

It includes chicken breast, arborio rice, shallots, parsley, garlic, green onions, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, heavy cream, chicken broth, and butter.

Beef and Arborio Rice is a specialty of my husband’s.

It includes angus ground beef 85/15, arborio rice, shallots, green onions, garlic, salt, pepper, vegetable stock, soy sauce, fish sauce, paprika, heavy cream, parmesan, and butter.

After many uses, including some we did not picture, my husband said this is a great pan. It cleans up well and does not get very dirty to begin with, thanks to the ceramic interior. The depth is awesome, so it can cook big meals, liquids, solids, and a variety of things. As it cannot go in the stove or boil a great depth of water, it is not a one-size fits all pan in the kitchen, but it does take the place of many of them. Thanks to Our Place for sending these items for me to review. I am very grateful. View my main page for the guide map to the site and deeper deal exploration.
