The 2019/2020 Sephora Beauty Insider Extra 20% Off Sale Items, AKA the 2019/2020 Sephora Sale on Sale, starts Saturday for VIB and Rouge members. It will run from December 21st through January 1st. All tiers can shop the sale starting December 26th. A Christmas through New Year’s promotion was the way this event started. With nearly 500 items in the sale section, there are a lot of great items to purchase.

Tips For the Sephora Beauty Insider Extra 20% off Sale Items, AKA 2019/2020 Sephora Sale on Sale

-If something you want is on sale, get it at the beginning on the event. While some items get replenished as stores send their leftover inventory back to the shipping warehouses, you never know when the final one is getting sold until the listing gets removed.

-On that note, items do get replenished online as stores send inventory of discontinued products back to the warehouse. This can happen anytime but tends to happen most often around 9am PST. If something you want is sold out, keep checking around 9am each day until the listing gets removed. Only when it gets removed is hope all but gone. Even then things can get found and pop up again far in the future.

-Always look at items you want, even at full price, and favorite them. Sephora will email you if that item has a price drop. That gives you a heads up over people who just happen upon it. This works any time of year, but is especially helpful during this event. The extra 20% off can push others to grab it, so you want this notification.

-There is a point every season where the sale section gets replenished. This is to remove seasonal stuff to make room for new items. It usually happens right before the seasons change over. Winter 2019 starts on December 22nd and while a lot of items already dropped, more can drop before the event ends.

-If you are not worried about your item selling out or do not have any specific purchases in mind, wait until January 1st to make your purchase. That way, the purchase can go toward you tier qualification minimum for the following year. Of course this does not apply to those still trying to make it for this year or those who will have no trouble making it next year. It is always nice to have this option when an event spans across two calendar years.
