FabFitFun Winter 2019 Subscription Box Review
This is my Winter 2019 FabFitFun review. I ordered three Winter 2019 FabFitFun boxes and some add-ons, so I have a lot to go over. FabFitFun is a quarterly subscription that releases one box per season. Boxes have over $200 in value. The items are always full-sized and include products from: beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness lines. Subscribers can either pay $179.99 for an annual subscription ($20 off when buying 4 boxes up front) or $49.99 for a Seasonal subscription.
Shipping is free, but sales tax gets charged (in certain states). There is usually a code to receive $10 off your first seasonal box. Those codes are fffa2p6 and FAB10. Members can select add-ons at deeply discounted prices to include with their boxes. All subscribers get to customize some choice options, but Annual Subscribers (select members) get extra choices.
Available Offers for Joining FabFitFun
There are 8 full-size items in this box. That makes the cost of each item $6.25 (if you paid $49.99 for the box). Of course, the cost goes down for those who paid less. This box has a very winter theme, depending on what you select.
The subscription box I received on my main account has a $289.90 value.
I kept my seasonal account from Fall and paid $49.95 for a second box. This box has a $389 value, but I did pay $30 for 2 extra items in customization one.
I reactivated an old account and ordered a third box for $49.95. A third blanket was the main thing I was after, but I did not mind trying the lash conditioner. This box has a $280.85 value.
The items I selected for my first box were the ones I would have picked if I only had one choice, so these are always the items I want more.
There were three Winter designs for the boxes this season. I received the blue one with muted colors on the first one. It reminds me of winter, so I really like this.
I received the blue one with bright colors on the second and third box. It looks like spring colors on a winter backdrop to me.
Everything comes on top of white crinkle cut paper wrapped in white tissue, sealed with a sticker.
This is my second box.
This is my third box.
Every box teams with a philanthropic cause. This box supports the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement. Since two-thirds of brains affected by Alzheimer’s belong to women and a new patient is discovered every 65 seconds, this organization is trying to understand why. It funds research and eduction with the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
Each box comes with a magazine. The Cover model for this feature, Maria Shriver, who started the organization after her father was diagnosed with the illness in 2003.
There is a note from the editor.
It goes over all the available products available for this box.
This includes brief descriptions along with the cost to purchase each item.
With more customization, the feature now spreads across three pages.
This box has a lot of style options, so there is a model to show how good they look on her.
There is an in-depth article on Maria and her organization.
Then we venture into the lifestyle items, starting with the candle.
It is followed by the blanket that now has a cult following, including all the members of my family.
My favorite section is always the discount codes we get when we shop elsewhere.
Once again, there were so many offers that they spanned across two pages.
These boxes usually have a code from Hello Fresh for a discount. I have never used one, so I like to post mine for anyone who may want to try it.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Shipping Schedule
There are three shipping groups. All annual subscriber boxes and those who have a military address bill and ship in group one. Seasonal subscribers who select add-ons, extra customizations, are international, or are overseas bill and ship in Group two. The final group is seasonal subscribers who add nothing extra to their boxes. Group 1 got billed on November 7th and all boxes should have shipped by December 6th.
Those in the second group were billed on November 20th and should ship by December 19th. The third group got billed on November 27th with all boxes to get shipped by December 26th. My boxes went out in group one, 11/18/19 (annual) and group two, 12/02/19 (seasonal 1) and 12/01/19 (seasonal 2). They got delivered on 11/22/19 and 12/05/19.
All FabFitFun subscribers got to customize three choice options.
Annual subscribers got to customize five items, and seasonal subscribers got to customize three. This is only available during the customization window. First time subscribers can choose as they sign up (within the first hour) or they will get a randomly selected box from the current season or an editor’s box if the seasonal box is sold-out.
The annual customization window for the Winter 2019 FabFitFun box was from November 2nd to November 5th. Seasonal members customized from November 15th to November 18th. Members get one choice from each customization row included with the cost of the box. For those who want more than choice per row, they can add extra choices in a given customization row for $15, $10, or $7 each as long as supplies last. Those who arrive at the beginning of the annual customization window can usually add every extra choice if they want to. Popular items will run out of inventory leaving those who arrive later with less extra options.

FabFitFun Winter 2019 Customization 1
Kate Somerville® Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream ($65), UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow ($65), R+Co TELEVISION Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner ($64), Jonathan Adler Fleur De Sel Ceramic Candle ($48), or Rebecca Minkoff Marled Beanie & Armwarmer Set ($70). You get 1 included with the cost of your box. Add extras for $15 each while supplies last.
I chose the blanket for all three boxes, so I ended up with three UnHide Lil’ Marshmallows. It wasn’t enough though, because my 2 sons and husband stole them leaving me without one. This is the softest blanket I’ve ever felt in my life, so I get why they love them so much. My youngest, who took the one that arrived in the first box nearly a month ago, carries his all over the house. He even sleeps with it, because he is small enough that it covers his whole body. Thankfully, I got a fuzzy blanket as an add-on with the Fall 2019 Edit Sale. While it is not as soft as this one, it is thicker. That helps, because I am always cold.
I have a lot of hats and glove sets, but I could not pass up on this one for $15. It is not only adorable but was the only set I would have owned (at the time) that had arm warmers like these. Since then, I purchased a denim blue set in the Black Friday Sale.
I love candles, but the main reason I purchased this for an extra $15 is the jar. It looks so sleek and simple. Long after the candle is gone, I will have this beautiful ceramic jar.
It is all white on the outside, but you get this beautiful baby blue shade when you open it up. My candle is not attached to the sides. I am unsure if that happened during shipment or is a design flaw.
It still burns, so I am not worried about it. What does concern me is how unevenly the candle burns. The outside of the wax has not budged at all, so it could result in a lot of waste. I will try to remove leftover wax to create a new candle when this has burned down, but this vessel is not ideal for a candle. This candle does not have much of a throw either. Unless you are very close to it, you cannot really smell it.
I really thought I was going to love these based on the notes: aquatic breeze, marine salt, orange blossom, mimosa, and driftwood. Any orange or ocean scents are usually right up my alley. It falls short on the fragrance though, and I think it smells a tad manly. There is an incredible amount of burn time with this. After two full days of burning, the candle looks the way it does above. That means it will last for a long time.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Customization 2
LashesMD® Eyelash Conditioner ($69.95-Amazon price may vary), PJ Salvage Faux Trim Cable Slippers S/M ($45), PJ Salvage Faux Trim Cable Slippers M/L ($45), Erno Laszlo Pore Cleansing Clay Mask ($48), or ban.do Bluetooth® Shower Speaker ($30). You get 1 included with the cost of your box. Add extras for $15 each while supplies last.
I selected the medium/large slippers in my first box. Not only did the slippers look adorable but I purchased some PJ Salvage pajamas as an add-on with the Fall 2019 Box. They are amazing, so I figured these would be as well. The size chart said these slippers should fit feet between sizes 8-11. My first issue with these were they were too big. These slid off my size 8 feet every time I tried to walk. That is mostly due to how wide they are. Making them really wide to fit a variety of feet also makes them slide around for those with slimmer feet.
After less than an hour, I gave up on them and gave them to my son. He wears a size 8 in men, which is equivalent to a 10 in women’s. His feet fill the space a lot better and he is able to walk without them sliding off even though he also has relatively slim feet. The soles are already wearing down after less than a month of use, so I do not think these will last very long. It is clear these were not made with the same quality standards my pajamas were.
I’ve been obsessed with Erno Laszlo ever since I read the quote that Audrey Hepburn gave the brand credit for 50% of her beauty. The problem is it is so expensive. Any time I can try a product at a great price I am down. This I selected the mask for my second box. Though I do not use clay masks a lot, I like having them on hand to really clear out my skin.
I’ve had pretty good success with lash serums. Once I stop using them, my lashes always return to their normal state. This lash conditioner, which I selected for my third box, is different from the other products I’ve tried. That made it appealing to me. It would be nice to have less breakage and stronger lashes.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Customization 3
Adore by Swarovski® Organic Circle Bracelet in Rose Gold ($39), Battington Lashes Monroe 3D Silk Lashes + Glue Kit ($32), Karuna Face For All Face & Eye Mask Set ($42-Amazon price may vary), or Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops ($55). You get 1 included with the cost of your box. Add extras for $10 each while supplies last.
I cannot get enough sheet masks, so I selected a set of these for my first and third box. The jewelry did not interest me, and I already own the lashes. Had I tried the lashes, I would add a review here. Since I do not wear lashes often, I have yet to try them. Karuna is a great brand and seven masks for this customization is such a great value. Sheet masks are my favorite type, because they add an instant boost of moisture to my dry skin.
I selected the glow drops in my second box. Products that add luminosity to my dry skin are always welcomed. This is one I have not tried yet. From the packaging alone, this seems like a very luxe product. My expectations are high.

Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin’ Palette ($38), LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt ($28), Paper Source™ 12 Month Rose Floral Planner ($27.95-Amazon price may vary), or Vooray Sidekick Crossbody Bag ($17.99-Amazon price may vary). You get 1 included with the cost of your box. Add extras for $7 each while supplies last.
I probably have over 100 neutral palettes. That never stops me from wanting more though. The Beauty Bakerie brand is one I am just starting to explore, so I selected this palette in my first box.
There is a lot of buzz surrounding this brand, so I’ve purchased a couple of things that I will try soon.
The buzz, at least on the eyeshadow palettes, is true, because there was a lot of pigmentation in the swatches. A few of these only required one pass and none of them required more than two. I immediately fell in love with the orange, Mango Pudding.
There is a moderate amount of fall out with the shadows, but they still pack a great deal of pigmentation. Tap the excess of your brush. The colors blend out smoothly and last all day. I did not have any creasing either time I used this palette. That was with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance the first time and NARS Pro Prime the second.
I am wearing the Butter London Gloss (from the mystery bundle below) in the shade Unicorn on my lid. All the surrounding colors came from the Beauty Bakerie palette. Mango Pudding is the star, but I also love Warm Cocoa in the outer corner. ‘Nana Puddin’ was my transition shade and Rice pudding is the inner corner shade.
Mango Pudding and Warm Cocoa are on the lower lash line as well.
Here is another look I did with the palette. I like this one a lot more, because I paired it with the Butter Glazen Eye Gloss Frosted from the Mystery Bundle below. It is just better suited for this palette, so the colors blend better. My eyes looked like a shimmery sunset.
I did not get to choose the item from my second box, because it is seasonal. FabFitFun selected the melt for me. This would have been my second choice, so I could not have selected this better myself. My skin is really dry, and I love trying new formulas. The LXMI cream only has one ingredient. That makes it intriguing.
I did not get to choose the item from my third box, because it is seasonal. FabFitFun selected the planner for me. This is the last item I would have picked, so it is a miss. My phone sends me reminders for all of my events, and I need that to stay on top of my appointments. For someone more organized than I am, this would make a great gift. Someone in my life is getting it for Christmas, which is the reason I did not open it or photograph the inside.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Customization 5
AHAVA Salt Bag ($16), frank body Original Coffee Scrub ($16.95), or Vera Mona Color Switch® Solo ($16.99-Amazon price may vary). You get 1 included with the cost of your box. Add extras for $7 each while supplies last.
Of the three items in this category, I’ve owned them all. They are all products I love and recommend. Though I do not have an article on the salts, I do have an article on the Color Switch. There was only one I did not own when it was time to make the selections. That is the one I selected for my first box, the coffee scrub. This is a product I’ve enjoyed in the past, even though it is a little more rough than I like my scrubs to be. It smells like coffee, which I love.
My skin feels really soft and smooth after I’m done. The best part is you only need a small amount to scrub your entire body. FabFitFun also selected the coffee scrub for my third box, so I gave the duplicate one to my husband.
I did not get to choose the item from my third box, because it is seasonal. FabFitFun selected the salts for me. Between the color switch, which I already own 4 of, and the salts, I would have rather had the salts. This was another good selection. Even though I have plenty of AHAVA salts, I can always use more.
Items in Every Box
There are 8 items in every box. The first 5 items vary in each box. Two of the item in every box are stationary and the third is randomized.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Item 6 (Selected by FabFitFun)
The sixth item, which was called customization 6 even though no one was able to actually make a selection will either be Cuccio Somatology Yogahhh! CALM + CLEAN EPSOM SALT HAND + BODY WASH ($39.95) or NAILSINC Thirsty Hands Hand Mask x 2 ($16). This selection was randomized by FabFitFun staff.
I received the hand + body wash in my first box. It seemed like most annual members received this, so it did not surprise me. Getting two would have been nice, so I could try a full one as a hand wash and another as a body wash to see which way I preferred it. My husband refuses to use products with lavender, thanks to studies like this one. Thus, I will probably only use this as a body wash for me. Of course, I could always place this on the sink with another hand soap and tell my boys not to use it.
I received the hand masks in both seasonal boxes. It seems most seasonal members got the hand masks, so it did not surprise me. My husbands hands have really been suffering lately and mine are always really dry. Getting two sets of these is probably for the best. We got 2 sets in each package, so we each get two.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Item 7 (Stationary Item)
The drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler retails for $23. I’ve used this before and find it is too lightweight to make a dent in my tangles. My hair is very fine, frizzy, and tangles easily. While this works better than nothing at all, I’ve tried several products that work better than this for my hair. This is likely ideal for someone who uses heat (which I don’t) and/or wants a lightweight leave-in that does not weigh hair down. Those who need heavy detangling will probably notice this does not cut it. Three is more than I would ever need of a product I know I do not already love. I may keep one or two, but I already placed the third one in my giveaway.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Item 8 (Stationary Item)
The MakeUp Eraser in Original Pink retails for $20. This is a product I’ve wanted to try for some time, but I was waiting for a good sale. I’m glad I waited.
Can we talk for a minute about how cute the packaging is? It looks like an eraser. That is very clever marketing.
I’ve purchased two cheaper levels of makeup removing towels, so I want to compare them to one another. Once I’ve done that, I will write a separate review article. This one claims it has fibers that help attract more, so I expect this one will work the best. We’ll see.
My Second Winter 2019 FabFitFun Box Review
This was a seasonal box that I paid $49.99 for. I also added two $15 items to customization 1, so this cost me $79.99.
I already covered all the items above, so I will just briefly say that I have no regrets paying $80 for all these extra items. It would have been better if all the items I wanted were not in the first customization, but I knew I did not have the strength to pass on a blanket with any box. A part of me still wants a fourth box.
My Third Winter 2019 FabFitFun Box Review
I reactivated a seasonal account and paid $49.99. Though I did not mind the extra items, the main reason I purchased this was for the third blanket and to try the lash conditioner.
I already covered all the items above, so I will just briefly say that I have no regrets paying $50 for all these extra items. The blanket alone is worth the cost of this box. If I could get more than one blanket per box, I would have paid $15 for extra blankets.
My Referral Box Review
I also referred someone on my annual and seasonal account, so I got two of these mini boxes.
My mini box items were: a Yumi Kim WANDERLUST MAKEUP TRAVEL CASE, a Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Day Cream Camellia & Geranium Blossom, a Spongelle body wash infused buffer in Black Orchid, and a Moroccan Gold Series Leave-In Mask. I’m not going to include the value of these items in the value for this box, because I got them for referrals (not as a GWP for the box purchase). See the article where I reviewed this box for values and my thoughts.
My favorite part of this subscription is the ability to purchase add-ons. These products get discounted 30-70% off. The add-on window opened to select members on November at 9am and closed November 5th at 11:59pm. It opened to all members on November 14th at 9am and closed November 18th at 11:59pm. Members were only charged for items that were still in their carts at 11:59pm on the day their sale ended. This means items are not officially sold-out until then. As members remove things from their cart throughout the sale, you can add them to yours. I suggest adding items you missed to your favorites, so you can periodically check them until the sale is over.
I had add-ons in both windows, but I only shopped in window 1 with my annual box.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Bundle Add-Ons
Bundles are great to purchase when you want all or most of the items in the curation, because you save over buying all items individually. Even when there is a weak item (based on personal preference in the bundle), you should consider the bundle if it costs about the same as the items you want. When it is only $1-$5 more, you can always gift the superfluous item. The best scenario is when the bundle with the item you do not want costs less than purchasing the items you do want separately. It is rare, but that does happen.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Add-ons Mystery Bundle $29
The mystery bundle was $29 and usually has a value over $100. It includes 3-5 items. I have a separate article to track all Mystery Bundles I order, so I will never go into great detail in the haul I purchased the bundle with. If you want more details on this bundle or any other mystery bundle I order, view that article. My items were: EiR Post Session Salt, $20 (Amazon price may vary-FabFitFun price $7), Mother Dirt Foaming Cleanser for Face and Body, $15 (Amazon price may vary-FabFitFun price $5), Pure Cosmetics Picture Perfect HD Powder, $30 (FFF $9), Butter Glazen Eye Gloss Unicorn, $24 (FFF $9.50) and Butter Glazen Eye Gloss Frosted, $24 (FFF $9.50).
That brings the value for this $29 mystery bundle to $113. Had I purchased the items separately through FabFitFun, I would have paid $40. Getting them in the bundle saved $11.
FabFitFun For Him VIII – FabFitFun Men’s Box 3 Winter 2019
I purchased the FabFitFun For Him Men’s Gift box for $49.99 for my husband. This is the price and size of an actual FabFitFun box, so I reviewed it separately. See that article for more details, but I will mention that it has $209.89 in products. The seven items inside are: Malin + Goetz Peppermint Bar Soap ($16), Minor History Valet Keychain Vegetable Tanned Black ($35), Richer Poorer Paradiso Men’s Socks ($14), Gabba Goods Wireless Charging Pad ($39.99), BLAQ Whitening Toothpaste ($19.90-Amazon price may vary), KNOT STANDARD Valet Tray ($50), and Member’s Only Circular Cork Grooming Kit ($35).
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Add-ons Berry Beautiful Bundle $17
This bundle includes: Skin Forum Peeling So Good 7-Day Pack in Berry, $20 (FFF $5), Julep Plush Kisses Hydrating Lip Gloss Duo, $20 (Amazon price may vary-FabFitFun price $5), and Pudus Classic Slipper Sock Geometric Raspberry, $24.99 (Amazon price may vary-FabFitFun price $11).
The Skin Forum Peeling So Good 7-Day Pack in Berry retail for $20. FabFitFun sells them for $5. Not that I ever mind trying a new peel, but I bought this set for the other two items. Getting this for only $1 more made the bundle worth it.
The Julep Plush Kisses Hydrating Lip Gloss Duo retail for $20 (Amazon price may vary). FabFitFun sells them for $5. I love the Julep lip glosses. It is getting really hard to find them as even the Julep site no longer sells these duos. This was probably my last chance to share my love of these glosses with someone I love. That is why I am not swatching them. They are a gift, but I can say I enjoy all lip products from Julep. It’s a shame that the brand is not doing well.
The Pudus Classic Slipper Sock Geometric Raspberry retail for $24.99 (Amazon price may vary). FabFitFun sells them for $11. This was the design I liked the most, which was the main reason I opted for this bundle. I love cozy, fuzzy socks, but I have not tried this raved about brand yet. That changes now.
That brings the value for this $17 bundle to $64.99. Had I purchased these items separately, I would have paid $21. I saved $4 with the bundle.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Add-ons Holiday Baking Bundle $19
FabFitFun does not sell the pieces individually, so I did not get a discount for buying them in a bundle. The retailer does not offer a discount for buying the bundle anyway. We have not tried the cookie cutters yet, although we will in the next few days when we make Christmas cookies. These mats fit perfectly in a large cookie sheet. The mats do not work well with breads, because it does not breathe on the bottom. They do prevent cookies from getting overly crispy. I look forward to seeing how they work with other items, but they hold up well in the oven. Dish soap and water easily cleans them and they look as good as new. So far, they have not peeled up or folded over.
Single FabFitFun Winter 2019 Add-ons
The 4-pack Patchology Milk Peel retails for $30. FabFitFun sells them for $5. These masks usually retail for $8 each, so this 4-pack costs less than it would have to buy one.
I’ve enjoyed all of the Patchology products I’ve tried, so I feel it is a pretty good brand. While I usually get my chemical peels in wipe form, I wonder if it will get more dramatic results in sheet mask form.
I will probably do a separate review on this, because there is potential for irritation with lactic acid.
I do like that it is a 5-minute peel. There are times I want to add a boost of moisture that sheet masks bring, but I do not have a lot of time. One that peels and moisturizes is ideal for winter.
The GIBSON & DEHN Coastline Liquid Hand Soap retails for $50. FabFitFun sells it for $7. I’ve never tried a $50 hand soap, so I had to order this. It has an ocean-like scent, which I love. This will make it into an Empties article, but I cannot see an independent review. For one, I cannot find a place to buy this, so reviewing it would only waste the reader’s time. Also, I have serious doubts that this would retail for $50 if it was sold. My assumption based on the cheap bottle is this has an overinflated MSRP.
The GIBSON & DEHN Royal Amber Liquid Hand Soap retails for $50. FabFitFun sells it for $7. I ordered this for the same reasons above and have the same thoughts. My husband prefers the way this one smells, but I prefer the other. Granted, our preferences could change once we actually put the soaps into rotation. For now, we have other soaps out.
The 4-pack Vitamasques Gemstone Sheet Mask Collection retail for $27. FabFitFun sells them for $5. It comes with 4 unique masks.
The 4 that come in this set are Ruby, Sapphire, Citrine, and Jade. While I’m not sure I buy into the gemstone gimmick, they promise to soothe skin and provide a calmer and happier mindset. Sheet masks do that.
This company has researched aromatherapy, colour therapy, gemstone therapy, and skin therapy practices. They are said to help reduce symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, Low Mood, PTSD, Seasonal Affective Disorder, and Stress.
Ruby claims to recharge the mind and restore the skin. Sapphire claims to relax the mind and hydrate the skin. Citrine claims it makes the mind happy and nourishes the skin. Jade claims it balances the mind and soothes the skin.
The Green Goo Skin Repair Large Tin retails for $18.95. FabFitFun sells this for $7. I bought 2, so I paid $14.
This is a product we’ve enjoyed in the past. We actually like all the Green Goo products we’ve tried, but this one works really well to heal extremely dry skin.
It is nice to have 2 open at the same time, because there is one on each floor that way.
The only thing I dislike about these tins is they are small. They get lost in couch cushions and under the couch. That does not happen with most moisturizers.
The Spongellé Tobacco Vanilla Body Wash Infused Buffer retails for $16. FabFitFun sells this for $5. I purchased one during the first window (pictured above) and one during the second window.
My husband loves Tom Ford Tabacco Vanille. I thought this would pair really well with his cologne, and this is his favorite time of year to wear the fragrance.
After seeing a bunch of people on the community talk about how wonderful this was, I ordered one for myself during all access. Spongelles are usually too rough for me, but I will give it a chance.
I ordered the PYT Beauty Plumping Lip Gloss in Influence, which is a pretty rosy nude shade. FabFitFun sent me PYT Beauty Plumping Lip Gloss in Skinny Dip by mistake.
It retails for $15. FabFitFun sells this for $5. I decided not to call customer service, because all my other items were fine. So, I will just keep this in the wrong shade.
I’ve ordered a few things from this brand, so I can explore it. This is one I wanted to try, well in the color I wanted. As someone pointed out, I can at least pair this with any lipstick. That is one bonus from the error.
I’ve only used it once so far, so I will save the official review for when I review the other products I ordered from this brand. For now, I can say this is not sticky and does plump lips. The effect did not last long on my first, and only application. We’ll see if I have better luck next time. I will trade reapplying often for a formula that is not sticky though. Sticky formulas are awful.
The Masque Bar Pretty Animalz Collection Bundle of 3 in: Polar Bear, Moose, and Penguin retails for $11.97 (Amazon price may vary). FabFitFun sells them for $5. You get purifying with the Penguin, nourishing with the Polar Bear, and moisturizing with the moose.
I like these Masque Bar character masks, so I almost ordered 3 sets. Ultimately, I stuck to one set, because I only need to add one mask for my annual family character sheet mask photo. My husband and older son do not allow me to post pictures of them, but you can see the Reindeer on me here, which I will probably purchase from Target again (to get to 4 unique masks).
You can also see the Panda on my son, and the Cat on me here. They are just as moisturizing as the average mask, but they are a lot more fun. If they were less than $4 each, I would buy them more often. That is why I almost maxed out and bought 3 sets.
The Summer & Rose Lilac Lisa Sock Set retails for $30. FabFitFun sells them for $11. I purchased these in blue from the FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale. These are just as soft and cozy as the blue ones, but I like this color better.
They are not aloe infused and will eventually unravel, so I would not recommend them at full price. Wait for a discount.
Free Add-On With a $15 Purchase
The 8.5oz Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo retails for $8.99. FabFitFun gave it for free with a $15 purchase. It was only available during part of the select window, so no seasonal members got it. There was another Mint Mobile GWP, but I purposely did not select that. After getting one in the Fall 2019 Box and taking forever to find someone to give it to, I did not want to get it again. I do not like this Giovanni shampoo, so I will gift this to someone else.
FabFitFun Winter 2019 Subscription Box Overview
This box has a $1724.49 value (Box 1 $289.90), (Box 2 $389), (Box 3 $280.85), and Add-ons ($764.74). FabFitFun reimbursed me what I paid for the first box. Before tax, I paid $49.99 + $30 in extra customizations for box 2, and $49.99 for box 3 on 11/20/19. For add ons my pre-tax total was $183.99. That leaves my FabFitFun pre-tax expenses at $313.97. My discount was over 82% off.
That brings the average box value for the year to $326.46, because I only use the main box items to calculate this. My personal value on the main box is $289.90, because I kept everything but the slippers and blanket. Anything that stays in my home counts as my personal value. On the second box, my personal value is at least $373, because I might gift the salts. It makes a really great gift. I should get at least $229.90 in personal value on the third box, because I am definitely gifting the calendar and hair product. If I give away more duplicates, my value could drop. Was the Fall 2019 FabFitFun Subscription Box Worth It?
This box is definitely worth more than the $39.99 to $49.99 people would pay for it. It is my new favorite box. The Summer 2018 box had to lose its reign at some point. I love so many items in it, and my family loves so many items in it. People are raving about the blanket and it really lives up to the hype. That product alone makes the box worth it, so everything else is just an awesome bonus. With lots of moisturizing and cozy items, I think FabFitFun did a great job in delivering a beautifully curated winter box.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
