FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale Haul Review

My FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale Haul Review is ready. There is an event between the seasonal subscription boxes called the FabFitFun Edit Sale. This is a subscriber only event where FabFitFun members can shop for items discounted 25%-70% off. For those who love add-ons, this is akin to purchasing add-ons without a subscription box. It also means subscribers who are not interested in any items or need a break for financial reasons can just sit this out. For mainland US subscribers who choose to shop, they get free shipping with a $25 purchase. Like add-ons, you add the items you want to your cart throughout the sale and only pay for the ones that are still in your cart once the event wraps. The Edit Sale opened to select members at 9am on September 23rd and all members at 9am on September 26th. Shopping closed at 11:59pm on September 30th and all members were charged on October 1st.

Available Offers for Joining FabFitFun

Add-ons open to seasonal members on November 14th and customization opens to seasonal members on November 15th. Both close for select members today.

Use code FAB10 to get 20% off ($10) a FabFitFun Winter 2019 Box subscription.

FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale Begins

I logged in right when the event opened and thought everything was pretty smooth. That was unusual.

FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale Shipping

Everything usually ships within 10 business days (two weeks) of the bill date. My first package was shipped on the 9th and arrived on the 16th. The second package was shipped on the 10th and arrived on the 12th. I did not get the freebie until the 31st, because it was not shipped until the 28th. Considering everything I paid for arrived within 15 days of payment, I think shipping is getting back on track. Of course, it would have been nice if there were enough freebies to go around without waiting on a restock.

FabFitFun Fall Edit Sale Haul Review

FabFitFun members know all items up front unless they purchase Mystery Bundles, so there is no element of surprise. That also means you are only paying for things you want. I did order a Mystery Bundle, so I had a little surprise.

FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale Bundles

Bundles are great to purchase when you want all or most of the items in the curation, because you save over buying all items individually. Even when there is a weak item (based on personal preference in the bundle), you should consider the bundle if it costs about the same as the items you want. When it is only $1 to $5 more, you can always gift the superfluous item. The best scenario is when the bundle with the item you do not want costs less than purchasing the items you do want separately. It is rare, but that does happen.

FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale Mystery Bundle

The mystery bundle was $29 and usually has a value over $100. It includes 3-5 items. I have a separate article to track all Mystery Bundles I order, so I will never go into great detail in the haul I purchased the bundle with. If you want more details on this bundle or any other mystery bundle I order, view that article. My items were: Live 24k Golden Fuel Turmeric Collagen Blend $29 (FabFitFun price $9), Thryve Probiotic Supplement $49 (FabFitFun price $24), Perfect Balance She’s a Maniac Leg Warmer $29 (FabFitFun price $14), and ESYM Lavender Soothing Face Mist $24 (FabFitFun price $9).

That brings the value for this $29 mystery bundle to $131. Had I purchased the items separately through FabFitFun, I would have paid $56. Getting them in the bundle saved $27.

FabFitFun Fall 2019 Edit Sale Summer & Rose Spa Day Bundle

The $59 Summer & Rose Spa Day Bundle includes: Summer & Rose Mani Pedi Soak ($12), Summer & Rose Relaxing Bath Salts ($24), Summer & Rose Faux Fur Throw Blanket ($89), Summer & Rose Fuzzy Socks ($30), and Summer & Rose Naomi Sandalwood Soy Wax Candle ($38).

The Summer & Rose Mani Pedi Soak retails for $12. FabFitFun sells them for $7. It’s been a long time since I’ve given myself a manicure or pedicure. I look forward to trying these out, because I usually just soak in water. It will be nice to see if adding something makes a difference.

The Summer & Rose Relaxing Bath Salts retail for $24. FabFitFun sells them for $9. I’ve wanted to try these for a while, but I felt like I was paying more for the packaging than the salts. Getting it in a set makes it a little easier to take the plunge. These vials are a little small compared to how much salt I usually pour, so I want to see if I notice them.

The Summer & Rose Fuzzy Socks retail for $30. FabFitFun sells them for $11. They come in a 3-pack of comfortable, adorable sets. These are calf length, and they do not ride down. My feet feel warm and cozy.

The Summer & Rose Naomi Sandalwood Soy Wax Candle retails for $38. FabFitFun sells this for $14. I have not burned this yet, but I love the way it smells in the container.

The Summer & Rose Faux Fur Throw Blanket retails for $89. FabFitFun sells it for $29. I’ve used this every night since it arrived. It is extremely soft and cozy. If this ever comes back in the shop, I will probably grab another one. One drawback is that the sherpa side attracts a lot of lint. It keeps me so warm.

That brings the value for this $59 mystery bundle to $193. Had I purchased the items separately through FabFitFun, I would have paid $70. Getting them in the bundle saved $11.

FabFitFun Fall 2019 FFF Style 3-Piece Bundle

The $49.99 FFF Style 3-Piece Bundle includes: Stoosh Liza Puffer Jacket ($39), pret-a-PorTEE Boat Neck Top ($44), and Summer & Rose Waffle Knit Top ($25).

There are no links for any of these products, because it appears like FabFitFun Style is the only seller. I was only able to find the pricing for the pret-a-PorTEE Boat Neck Top. FFF Style sells that for $44. That took some digging through the community forum, but I could not find anything on the other two. My guess on the Stoosh Liza Puffer Jacket is $39. This leaves $25 for the Summer & Rose Waffle Knit Top. I’ve already worn the shirts and really like both. Sadly, the jacket is a little small, so I will need to lose some weight before it will zip.

That brings the value for this $49.99 mystery bundle to $109. Had I purchased the items separately through FabFitFun, I would have paid $109. Getting them in the bundle saved $59.01. I assume they would have a lower price if they entered the sale individually. As that has not happened yet, I am valuing at full retail.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Solo Products

The Happy Wax Outlet Warmer and Pumpkin Wax Pouch Duo retails for $27.90. FabFitFun sells them for $11. I purchased 5, so I spent $55. We all prefer the scent and herringbone design on this one.

This vanilla, pumpkin scent is pleasing and long-lasting. Long after the wax warmer is turned off, the scent permeates the air. These look great on the second floor of my house and each room has its own, so we are all in control of our fragrance.

The Happy Wax Outlet Warmer and Sandalwood Wax Pouch Duo retails for $27.90. FabFitFun sells them for $11. I purchased 4, so I spent $44. While I like the gray stripe, I prefer the herringbone. It just looks a little more neutral against white walls. Yes, I need to paint my walls. My husband, who usually likes sandalwood, said this scent makes him sick.

It is too artificial. I do not mind the fragrance, but I do prefer the other one. When we purchase refills, I will avoid this one. These are on the first floor of my house. Four is one too many given the layout of my house, so I wish I would have ordered three. These ceramic warmers are beautiful and heavy. They are easy to tip over and get very hot. The silicone tops make removing the wax very easy. It pops right out.

The 9oz dpHUE ACV Scalp Scrub retails for $38. FabFitFun sells this for $17. This does smell better than the Apple Cider Vinegar rinse from the brand, but not by a lot. Thankfully, I use this before I shampoo, so my hair takes on the scent of whatever shampoo I pair it with. I have a hard time really massaging it into my scalp, because the pieces cling to my hair. Occasionally, a few pieces cling past shampooing and conditioning afterward. Other than that, I think it works nicely. It helps keep my scalp from feeling dry and seems to remove product build up. pH 3.5.

The Betsey Johnson Cozy Sock 3 Pack Gift Box retails for $24. FabFitFun sells them for $12. Walmart actually has a similar pack on sale for $5.50, so I almost passed on these. It was hard to tell if the Walmart ones were as fuzzy, so I chanced it.

My gamble paid off, even if I overpaid, because I love these socks. They are super soft, warm, and cozy. That is everything I love in a fuzzy sock.

The Laundry by Shelli Segal Pom Beanie retails for $38. FabFitFun sells this for $14. I have so many beanies, but I could not resist this. All I could think when I saw it was, “On Wednesdays, we wear pink.”

The MYTAGALONGS Hot/Cold Pack in Teal retails for $15. FabFitFun sells this for $5. I purchased one of these in a past sale, and I enjoy it. This is flexible and the outer shell holds up well. My plan is to store this outside the freezer, so I have one as a heat pack and one as a freezer pack. That way, I am not microwaving a frozen pack or waiting to freeze a room temperature pack.

The CRAFT + FOSTER Baked Pumpkin Glass Candle retails for $22. FabFitFun sells this for $9. This smells incredible, and this has a nice throw. It gives me serious fall vibes, because it nails the pumpkin scent.

The FFF Style Fleece Peacoat retails for $59. FabFitFun sells this for $19.99. This is private labeled by Stoosh. I got one in a FabFitFun Style box that is exactly the same. That one is called the Stoosh Gina Fleece Cozy Jacket, and it retails through Style for $27. Clearly, the pricing is all over the place. It is easily worth the $19.99 or even the $27, but I would never pay $59. These are in junior sizes, so I will need to lose some weight before I can wear this. Neither the one I got in the sale (in my normal size) nor the one from Style (which is a size bigger than I usually wear) fit. The reason I purchased the Style one despite already having the Edit Sale one was to get the 25% discount for purchasing the whole box. I can always gift the extra coat. Whoever gets it will probably be happy, because it is a soft, cozy jacket.

The 2.4oz Pistache Skincare Pistachio Hand Cream retails for $18. FabFitFun sells it for $7. I’ve wanted to try this for a while, becausso many beauty influencers compare it to Bum Bum cream. We’ll see if I agree, at least on the scent.

The Rael Herbal Heating Patches retail for $5.99 each. FabFitFun sells the 2 pack for $5. Ever since my miscarriage in 2016, I get really painful periods.

I want to try these next time I am in a lot of pain to see if they help.

The MYTAGALONGS Yoga Mat Carrier retails for $25. FabFitFun sells this for $9. I either awkwardly carry my yoga mat under my arm or bend it to make it fit in my gym bag. Now, it has a carrier of its own. This is such a lightweight neoprene material.

The Snuggie Compression Socks Black retail for $24.99. FabFitFun sells them for $7. Walmart sold these for $5.65, but they were out-of-stock when I checked. They were also in a different color. I’ve wanted to try these for a while. It did not let me pick the size, but they fit despite my shoe size coming in under the small end for these. For the brief time I had them on, they even felt comfortable.

The 1.7oz Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Intensive Exfoliating Treatment is worth $75. FabFitFun sells this for $44 when it is in the 2oz size. I received this for free for being among the first of the select members to order over $100 in products. This is a product I enjoy, and it is a FabuFind. My plan is to place this in my next giveaway, because I am pretty stocked. This arrived after everything else.

Was this Fall 2019 Edit Sale Haul Worth it?

I paid $341.98, and I received $1035.07 worth of products. My mystery bundle was the only thing I was not overly thrilled about, but my husband and I will use everything in it. All the other items are great. I’ve already enjoyed everything I’ve tried and look forward to trying the others. It is slightly disappointing that I have to lose weight before I can use the jackets properly, but I know I will love them once I do. These items are helping me get ready for the cold weather with lots of pampering in store. They were worth every penny. Getting a huge discount on things I know I want is my favorite part of my FabFitFun subscription.
