Sephora Collection Mask Sets: Penguins in Paradise, Where Is the Penguin, and Frosted Party Skincare Surprise – A 2019 Holiday Bonus Sale Recommendation

The Fall 2019 Sephora Holiday Bonus Sale runs November 1st through November 11th. I’m here to bring you some sheet mask set reviews worth purchasing. They are Penguins in Paradise, Where is the Penguin, and Frosted Party Skincare Surprise, which are all sets from the Sephora Collection. Holy Sheet was reviewed separately, but I definitely recommend that one as well. After some disappointing Sephora Favorites pricing (like the 2019 Sun Safety Kit), I feel these are priced well. Getting it on sale only adds to the deal. Sheet masks are one of my favorite indulgences, but I still rarely purchase them individually at full-price. Whenever I can get them in a set or on sale, it is something I cannot pass up.

2019 Sephora Collection Penguins in Paradise Set Review

There are six products in the $25 Sephora Collection Penguins in Paradise Set. That makes the cost of each item $4.17. All the products are full-size.

The Sephora Collection Pineapple Face Mask retails for $6. This is a pore perfecting & smoothing mask that I have not tried yet. There are times when my pores look a little large, so I like having this on hand.

The 25 count Sephora Collection Papaya Wipes retail for $8. These exfoliating wipes promise a glow. My dry skin can always use more glow, so I look forward to trying these.

The 0.123oz Sephora Collection Kiwi Lip Scrub retails for $6. I enjoy the lip balm from this line, so I think the scrub will also impress me.

The Sephora Collection Watermelon After-Sun Mask retails for $5. I am always looking for a nice after sun mask, because my skin burns easily. This one has a reasonable price, so I am hoping for great results.

The 1oz Sephora Collection Coconut Hand Balm retails for $5. My hands are very dry, so I go through a lot of hand creams. I am happy to try this.

The Sephora Collection Acai Hair Mask retails for $5. I tried the Shea version of this mask. While I was happy with the volume it gave and how soft my hair felt, I chose not to wash my hair after rinsing it out. Getting this gives me a chance to see how it works when I wash it out.

2019 Sephora Collection Penguins in Paradise Set Overview

This is a versatile set with a hair mask, two face masks, exfoliating face wipes, a lip scrub, and a hand balm. They’re all things I use, so it works for me.

Is the 2019 Sephora Collection Penguins in Paradise Set Worth It?

The kit has a $35 value, which is right on the Sephora estimate. I’m keeping all the products, so my personal value is $35. While paying $25 for $35 in value is not the biggest savings, these are all full-size products. Anyone who is interested in all or all but one will get the value from this set.

2019 Sephora Collection Where is the Penguin Review

There are eight products in the $25 Sephora Collection Where is the Penguin Set. That makes the cost of each item $3.13. All the products are full-size.

This box is made of sturdy cardboard (unlike the others), so you can repurpose it.

The Sephora Collection The Charcoal Mask retails for $6. I love the idea of a charcoal sheet mask to cleanse and refresh at the same time. This is one I have not tried yet.

The Sephora Collection Lychee Face Mask retails for $6. This is a moisturizing mask I have not tried yet, but I love its sister, the moisturizing Rose Mask. I am sure I will love this as well.

The Sephora Collection Cucumber Eye Mask retails for $5. Cucumber is supposed to be really soothing and de-puffing for eyes. This one also promises to smooth and tone.

The Sephora Collection Charcoal Nose Strip retails for $3. This is one I’ve ordered for my husband. It pulls blackheads out of the nose. Yes, it works, but so does the Biore strip. Those are a lot cheaper.

The Sephora Collection Coconut Hair Mask retails for $5. I tried the Shea version of this mask. While I was happy with the volume it gave and how soft my hair felt, I chose not to wash my hair after rinsing it out. Getting this gives me a chance to see how it works when I wash it out.

The Sephora Collection Aloe Vera Hand Mask retails for $5. This claims it is ultra-moisturizing and beautifying. I love a good hand mask, but I wash my hands too often to justify buying these individually.

The Sephora Collection Almond Foot Mask retails for $5. I enjoy the extra boost of hydration this provides, but I do not think it does enough to justify its price tag to purchase it separately. My feet just feel the same as when I go straight from the shower to foot cream.

The Sephora Collection Shea Lip Mask retails for $3. This claims it is moisturizing and soothing. Lip masks usually give me a white head, so I do not use them often. I will try this though.

2019 Sephora Collection Where is the Penguin Overview

This is more versatile than the previous set. It has a hair mask, two face masks, a hand mask, a foot mask, a nose strip, eye masks, and a lip mask. They’re all things I use, so it works for me.

Is the 2019 Sephora Collection Where is the Penguin Worth It?

The kit has a $38 value, which is right on the Sephora estimate. I’m keeping all the products, so my personal value is $85. While paying $25 for $38 in value is not the biggest savings, these are all full-size products. Anyone who is interested in all or all but one will get the value from this set.

2019 Sephora Collection Frosted Party Skincare Surprise Review

There are four products in the $10 Sephora Collection Frosted Party Skincare Surprise Set. That makes the cost of each item $2.50. All the products are full-size.

This opens like a fortune teller.

The 1oz Sephora Collection Coconut Hand Balm retails for $5. My hands are very dry, so I go through a lot of hand creams. I am happy to try this.

2019 Sephora Collection Frosted Party Skincare Surprise Overview

Considering there are only four products in here, I think Sephora did a great job diversifying this set. There is a hand balm, eye mask, face mask, and a nose strip.

Is the 2019 Sephora Collection Frosted Party Skincare Surprise Worth it?

The kit has a $19 value, which is right on the Sephora estimate. I’m keeping all the products, so my personal value is $19. If you purchase the other sets, you could easily pass on this one. They are all duplicates. Since these items are so disposable, having a duplicate is not a bad thing. Getting $19 in value for $10 also makes it the most valuable of the three given the amount spent. It saves over 47% from purchasing everything individually.
