I want to offer my 2019 Sephora Favorites The Next Big Thing review, because the Sephora 2019 Fall Bonus Sale is just around the corner. This is something worthy of adding to your shopping list. After some disappointing Sephora Favorites pricing (like the 2019 Sun Safety Kit), I feel this one is priced well. Getting it on sale only adds to the deal. Sephora Favorites are one of my favorite things to purchase whenever there is a mix of full-size and sample products. My limit when they are all samples is $45, which prices me out of some kits. This one comes in under $45 and has two full-size products.
I have one timeline where I list all major: Promotions, Sales, Deals, GWP, Promo Codes, and Events. Those who want to see an overall idea of what to expect this year should stop by. 2019 Sephora Favorites The Next Big Thing Review
There are seven products in the $39 Sephora Favorites The Next Big Thing set. That makes the cost of each item $5.57. Two of the products are full-size, and five are deluxe.
Everything comes beautifully encased in glitter embossed cardboard. It’s fitting given how much sparkle this set comes with. The cardboard holds everything nicely in place, so everything should arrive intact.
The full-size items cover the price of this kit and save you $4 from purchasing them separately.
That makes this worth it for anyone who wants both full-size products. It also makes all of the samples free.
The 0.05oz Artist Couture Diamond Lights Finisher in Spotlight Glitz is worth $10.42.
Spotlight Glitz is a silver and pink reflects glitter, but it looks peach. I love the fall vibes it gives me, but I think this would make a great spring color as well.
There is a moderate amount of fallout when applying this, but it is reduced when you wet it and use a glitter glue. Once it sets, it does a decent job of staying set if you apply a glitter glue. If you do not apply a glitter glue, this will fall into your eyes and all over your face as the wear time progresses. Likewise, it will look beautiful and remain crease free if you apply a glitter glue. When you apply it dry, it will look less vibrant at the end of the day.
The full-size 0.17oz Kaja Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush in 04 Feisty retails for $24.
This cool raspberry shade applies dark, but it is really easy to blend out. It was just a sheer flush of color, which is exactly what I was going for. The color builds, so you can make it darker. I like how long it lasts on my skin, because I could still see the color at the end of the day.
The full-size 0.14oz Melt Cosmetics Lipstick in Old Rose retails for $19.
I love this dusty rose shade. In the photo above, I wore it with a darker application to give it a more bold appearance. When I paired this with the Kaja blush (also above), I used a lighter hand. That gave it a more nude appearance. This is a comfortable, matte formula. It lasts on the lips for a long time.
The 0.141oz Natasha Denona Mini Diamond & Glow Cheek Duo retails in this size for $19.
I used the lighter color of the palette as my highlight and the pink color as my blush. It looked somewhat natural unless you caught the right light. Then, the glitter sparkles a lot. Sadly, I did not catch it in the right light in this photo, but I promise it delivers on the glitter. The glitter lasts long after the color fades. This does give my skin the wet look I like.
The 0.085oz Violet Voss Eye Glitter Topper in Dream is worth $9.81.
I love the opaque rose gold with silver shimmer. It goes on very thick with no fall out.
If you leave it thick, you will not get any fall out. Once this sets, it stays set. Nothing will move or crease. Because it looks a little clumpy when it us thick, I like to blend it out. That causes a lot of fall out. Some trial and error will get this to look beautiful without much fallout, but the stila version of this is so much easier to work with. I see why this is so much cheaper.
The 0.17oz FARSÁLI Liquid Glass Radiance Serum is worth $11. Whether using this as a serum or a makeup primer, it works amazingly well. My skin feels incredibly hydrated and boasts an incredible glow. I love that I can use this with or without makeup. It gives my skin a touch of radiance that is noticeable whether I place makeup on top or not.
The 0.21oz Milk Makeup Cooling Water Mini retails in this size for $15. I cannot stress enough how much I love this product. This mini is the perfect size for my under eyes, which get very dry. A quick roll helps cool and soothe the skin. With the exception of the inner corner, it grips the area and coats it perfectly. My eyes get an instant boost in hydration and feel refreshed. Thanks the caffeine, it even helps depuff a little. That makes this a great alternative to eye patches, which I only reach for when I have a lot of puffiness. It works on other areas of the face as well, but I really love how perfect this size is for the under eyes.
2019 Sephora Favorites The Next Big Thing Overview
This is a glam set. I would not recommend this if you’re into a more natural look. There is a lot of glitter and sparkle in here. None of the colors are really bold with the exception of the cream blush. Both the cream blush and the lipstick can be built up or sheered out depending on the look you are going for. Since those are the full-size items, it makes it a little more versatile.
Is the 2019 Sephora Favorites The Next Big Thing Worth It?
The kit has a $108.23 value, which is over the $95 Sephora estimate. Only one item existed in my collection before I purchased this set. That is an item that I already knew and loved, so I was happy to receive a duplicate. My personal value is $108.23, because I kept all of the contents. This kit has a glowing, glitter theme, so people who dislike glitter will not like many of the items. However, the two full-size items, which cover the cost of the set, have no glitter at all. As someone who likes glitter, I enjoyed trying every item in this set. Some worked out better than others, but I walk away feeling this was easily worth what I paid for it.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
