FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Haul Review

My FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Haul Review is ready. There is an event between the seasonal subscription boxes called the FabFitFun Edit Sale. This is a subscriber only event where FabFitFun members can shop for items discounted 25%-70% off. For those who love add-ons, this is akin to purchasing add-ons without a subscription box. It also means subscribers who are not interested in any items or need a break for financial reasons can just sit this out. For mainland US subscribers who choose to shop, they get free shipping with a $25 purchase. Like add-ons, you add the items you want to your cart throughout the sale and only pay for the ones that are still in your cart once the event wraps. The Edit Sale opened to select members at 9am on July 1st and all members at 9am on July 4th. Shopping closed at 11:59pm on July 10th and all members were charged on July 11th.

Available Offers for Joining FabFitFun

Add-ons opened to seasonal members today and customization opens to seasonal members on August 1st. Both are already open to select members.

Use code FAB10 to get 20% off ($10) a FabFitFun Winter 2020 Editor’s Box subscription.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Begins

I did not log in right when the event opened, so I did not experience any major issues. The process was a lot smoother this time.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Shipping

Everything usually ships within 10 business days (two weeks) of the bill date. After a two week warehouse closure, FabFitFun informed us it would take three weeks to get all the orders out. I was charged for the order on the 11th. My first package was shipped on the 23rd and arrived on the 26th. That was 15 days from payment to delivery, which is okay given the closure. It was missing 3 of my nine items though. The last three items have not shipped yet. August 1st is fast approaching, so I hope my remaining items ship within the three week promised deadline.

FabFitFun Summer Edit Sale Haul Review

FabFitFun members know all items up front unless they purchase Mystery Bundles, so there is no element of surprise. That also means you are only paying for things you want. I ordered a mystery bundle, so I did get an element of surprise.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Bundles

Bundles are great to purchase when you want all or most of the items in the curation, because you save over buying all items individually. Even when there is a weak item (based on personal preference in the bundle), you should consider the bundle if it costs about the same as the items you want. When it is only $1 to $5 more, you can always gift the superfluous item. The best scenario is when the bundle with the item you do not want costs less than purchasing the items you do want separately. It is rare, but that does happen.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Mystery Bundle

The mystery bundle was $29 and usually has a value over $100. It includes 3-5 items. I have a separate article to track all Mystery Bundles I order, so I will never go into great detail in the haul I purchased the bundle with. If you want more details on this bundle or any other mystery bundle I order, view that article. My items were: Lue by Jean Seo Skin Solutions Set ($35) treStiQue Mini Plumping Lip Balm Barbados Berry ($12), whish Coconut Luminous Body Oil ($28), and kensie Everyday Brush Set ($39.99).

That brings the value for this $29 mystery bundle to $114.99. Had I purchased the items separately through FabFitFun, I would have paid $42. Getting them in the bundle saved $13.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Dip Your Toes In Bundle

The $14 Dip Your Toes In includes: VOESH Peeling Socks ($18), Lavido Thera Intensive Foot Cream ($28), and Living Royal Pina Colada Socks ($8).

The VOESH Peeling Socks retail for $18. FabFitFun sells them for $5. I love peeling my feet, because it makes them really soft and smooth. This is a brand I have not tried yet, but I figured it was worth a shot at this price.

The 4.05oz Lavido Thera Intensive Foot Cream retails for $28. FabFitFun sells this for $9. This claims to purify and prevent foot odor while it moisturizes. I need to talk my son into trying this. His feet always stink. Foot cream is something I use a lot of, and I am always searching for the latest and greatest.

The Living Royal Pina Colada Socks retail for $8. FabFitFun sells them for $5. I do not like these as much as I like the llama ones below, but I wanted the other two items anyway. Getting the bundle basically equated to a free pair of socks. That’s a pretty good deal.

That brings the value for this $14 bundle to $54. Had I purchased everything separately at the FabFitFun price, I would have paid $19. This bundle saved me $5.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Glamping Bundle

The $21 Glamping Bundle includes: 2.5oz Cleo & Coco Unisex Basil Mint Deodorant ($18), 3.4oz busy BEAUTY™ Showerless Shave® Gel ($11.95), and CYLO Pineapple Critter Bluetooth Speaker ($29.99).

The Cleo & Coco Unisex Basil Mint Deodorant retails for $18. FabFitFun sells this for $9. This is a natural, aluminum free deodorant that I purchased for my son. I’ve been on a journey to explore aluminum free deodorants for myself, and I like that my son has yet to try an aluminum deodorant. Hopefully, he can find the aluminum free version that works for him. It took well over a month for this to arrive, but it was worth the wait. My son really likes it so far. He does not have any issues with bacteria when using natural deodorants (like I do), so I do not know how it would work for someone like me. Maybe, one day I will order one for myself.

The busy BEAUTY™ Showerless Shave® Gel retails for $11.95. FabFitFun sells this for $5. I do not shave my legs everyday. There have been times when I remember I need shaved legs for the day after I’ve already finished my shower. Having a showerless shave gel for those days would make it so much easier as long as this formula is easy to work with. Shaving outside of the shower has proven difficult and painful for my legs in the past, so I am wary.

The CYLO Pineapple Critter Bluetooth Speaker retails for $29.99. FabFitFun sells this for $11. My younger son saw this speaker as I was scrolling through the Edit sale items. He had to have it after calling it the cutest thing ever. As I was already getting the shave gel and a deodorant for my older son, it made this package a no-brainer. This has been a hit. While the sound quality is not the best (not expected given the low cost), he has used it daily since it arrived. It does seem like the battery dies fast.

The thing my son loves most about his speaker is how small it is. For size prospective, I placed it next to a beautyblender.

That brings the value for this $21 bundle to $59.94. Had I purchased everything separately at the FabFitFun price, I would have paid $25. This bundle saved me $4.

FabFitFun Summer 2019 Edit Sale Solo Products

The Living Royal No Drama Llama Socks retail for $8. FabFitFun sells them for $5. I purchased a pair of these before. They are on the thin side, but they have not ripped through so far. This design is pretty cute. Because the fabric is thin, the design does not look as good on the feet as it does in the drawer. Feet stretch the fabric a little. Despite knowing that, I still wanted more of these lightweight, comfortable socks.

The Michael Stars Ruana Royal Blue Tribal retails for $54. FabFitFun sells this for $19. This was in a box before I subscribed, so I did not already own this. It took well over a month for it to arrive, so I will probably not get a lot of use out of it until next year. I love it though. My favorite thing about it is the pattern, but I really like the dark blue. When I tested the different ways to wear this, I was even more impressed. You can use it in more ways than a traditional scarf or cover-up. The material is also light and airy. It will add sophistication without making you hot.

Was this Summer 2019 Edit Sale Haul Worth it?

I paid $88, and I received $290.93 worth of products. My mystery bundle was not the best, but I got such a great deal on everything else it more than makes up for the shortcomings there. This was a small haul (for me), but I am happy with all my decisions on what to get and what to pass on. Getting a huge discount on things I know I want is my favorite part of my FabFitFun subscription.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (13 and 8) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 13-year-old to apply it.
