Sephora Beauty Insider Community (BIC) Super Star Gift Review

On May 20th, TeamBIC reached out to see if I would be interested in a Sephora Beauty Insider Community gift. The message said they would be given out on a first come, first served basis. It looks like messages started going out on the 17th, but there were still spots left before the May 22nd deadline. Never one to turn down a free gift (as long as I can share my thoughts on it), I responded. My gift, addressed to a Sephora BIC Super Star, arrived on July 1st. That is the exact two-year anniversary of the new BIC launch from the old Beautytalk, so the timing on the gift delivery was perfect.

Though I admittedly do not contribute much anymore, it was my happy place for a long time. I still recommend it and most of the people on it. It is my favorite online community.

Whenever I get an invite, it feels a little nostalgic. After all this time, it feels nice that the moderators still remember those of us who aren’t as active anymore.

I love the gifts and will start with my favorite. The Tribe Socks Beauty Insider Community Socks are adorable. Not only are they purple, which I love, but they have the Beauty Insider emoji icon, a Sephora Community Chosen Logo, and a cute saying on the bottom. It says, “if you can read this” on one foot “bring me lipstick.” In true Beauty Insider Community Fashion, they are made with 75% Bamboo Rayon, 22% Nylon, 3% Elastane, plus love and llamas. This lucky pair of socks is not available for purchase, so only Community members chosen to receive the gift will own them. That makes them special. Once I wear these, I will come back with some pictures and a review.

The Popsockets with the Beauty Insider Logo is so cute. I’ve been meaning to add one to my phone, and I like this more than the one I was going to add. Once I add it, I will come back with some photos and a review.

The HUDABEAUTY Gemstones Obsessions looks great. That is a direct link to the Obsessions palettes, but the Gemstones Palette is not there yet. I’ve been meaning to purchase one of her mini palettes since I fell in love with her larger one.

This one has a lot of stunning colors in it. Once I use it, I will come back with swatches, photos of me wearing it, and a review.

There are no mattes in the palette, so I will almost certainly bring matte shades from her other palette in to create my looks.

These gifts made me very happy, and I am grateful TeamBIC selected me as a recipient. As I use the items, I will edit in more thoughts and pictures.
