FabuFinds: The Best Finished Products Spring 2019
After I review my Empty Products, I take extra time to go over the standouts. It is a round-up for the best of the best. Only products that seem like they’re made for me make FabuFind status, so there are a lot of items I love that never make it. These are items I would repurchase, even without a deal. Items I am loving but cannot finish any time soon make it into my Core Collection (favorites). To eventually spotlight all FabuFinds, I will never repeat items already mentioned in a past article. That does not mean they lost their magic. An item not spotlighted in a past Empties article may get promoted as I try it more and fall deeper in love. If something gets demoted from FabuFind status (formula changes, skin changes, finding something better, etc), I will note the change in the original article I mentioned it in. There are five products I consider FabuFinds in my Spring 2019 Empties that I have not discussed yet.
I got this everyone hand soap tangerine + vanilla at Whole Foods, but I am happy to see Target carries it at a better price. Citrus and vanilla are two of my favorite scents, and they combine so well in this product. It smells like pure joy. This lathers well and rinses really clean. You are just left with soft, great smelling hands. My husband, who does not apply hand cream after every wash like I do, says it provided lasting moisture as well.
I’ve been obsessed with the Rituals foaming shower gels from the moment I tried my first one. It was a sensory experience I will never forget. The aroma fills the shower, the foam expands in your hand, you can hear the soft crackling as you work the bubbles into your body, and you feel so moisturized. Every aspect of it felt like pure indulgence. Whenever I had a big event or wanted to pamper myself, I used one of these. That made the experience even more special. Given that they were $15 each, I could not use them everyday. They were just priced out of my reach. Then, Rituals lowered the price to $9.50! It is finally time to promote my favorite scent, Rituals The Ritual of Sakura zensational foaming shower gel to FabuFind status. This smells like cherry blossoms, so I get so much pleasure from using this. Ulta has it on sale for $7.13! That is less than half of what they cost six months ago.
I’ve always enjoyed the Ulta Beauty Smoothie’s. They all lather well, rinse clean, and leave my skin feeling moisturized. Though I have not tried them as shampoo or bubble bath, I am guessing it could do either really well. Dragonfruit was named a FabuFind in the past, and while I would still buy that (if I could), I think this new smells even better. Every time I fall in love with a fragrance, Ulta seems to take it away. There is only one I did not enjoy that much, so I like exploring the different scents. The Ulta Beauty Sweet Pecan Cupcake 3-in-1 Smoothie Body Wash, Bubble Bath & Shampoo really smells like a sweet pecan cupcake but not in an overwhelming way. My husband and I both loved it so much that I went back to Ulta to get some more, but it sold-out. I’m hoping it makes a return this holiday season. Until it returns or if it does not return, I am going to try the Buttercream one I linked in its place, since I will not pay the reseller price to get another bottle of this.
My skin is dry and burns really easily. If I am going to be out in the sun for any real time, I need sunscreen on exposed areas of my body. I also need a moisturizer. This Supergoop! SuperPower Sunscreen Mousse Broad Spectrum SPF 50 works well as both, because it is the most moisturizing sunscreen I’ve ever tried. The foam feels like a cloud of hydration. My son, who never puts on body moisturizer, essentially drank this up with his skin. Even though I had moisturizer on, it still felt great on me. Any added moisture is a good thing. This foam was really easy to work into the skin. None of us got burned, so it did its job.
I’m not sure I can be without the Living proof.® STYLE|LAB® Prime Style Extender ever again. No product I’ve ever used has done more for my hair. It was not that long ago that I had to wash everyday or at least use a dry shampoo on day two. Whenever I use this, it takes a lot longer before the oil builds at my scalp. With low porosity hair, I have trouble getting products to absorb. That results in dry hair with an oily scalp that tries to overcompensate for it. Even when I forget to apply this, my hair can go multiple days without looking oily. It is almost as if this has transformed my hair. My hair does not really look dirty the same day I wash it anymore. It just looks and feels more clean even on second or third day hair. Before this, I never dreamt of going three days between washes. Though I typically opt for two, I can push it to three.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (13 and 8) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 13-year-old to apply it.
Awesome article! Did you get the Rituals Advent calendar last year? I had no idea so many companies put out beauty advent calendars!

I did not, but I am sure I will get one at some point. My holiday 2018 budget was shot pretty quickly.
