Where is the Beauty Cue? Neiman Marcus released a Beauty Cue promo code in December 2018, but the a January 2019 Beauty Cue code did not get released. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to sign up for the Neiman Marcus Beauty Cue? The sign-up link does not work more often than it does. When you call Neiman Marcus for assistance, they tell you they’ve added you to it, but some employees have as much trouble accessing the link as we do. Others will tell you they’ve signed you up but the next month will come and go without an offer. Back when I originally signed up years ago, I had no issues. However, it took a lot of effort to get signed up again when I changed my email address. After ten days of January came and went without an offer, I started to wonder if I somehow got un-subscribed, again!
What is a Beauty Cue? It is a GWP of deluxe samples Neiman Marcus offers with a $50 beauty purchase. Once you sign up, you should receive a monthly email with the general Beauty Cue code for the month. My January 2019 Beauty Cue email did not arrive until January 11th. I read it carefully and could not find a Beauty Cue Promo Code listed on it at all. It did give me a link to read and shop the story. There was no code listed there either, not that there ever is. You can usually only find the code in the email, a blog, or by calling Neiman Marcus (which I had to do once when I was going through my email issues).
Update: Even though a Beauty Cue offer code for January 2019 never arrived via email, I was able to get one by phone on January 16th. It works.
I did a Google search and managed to find this Beauty Cue offer with the promo code RESOLVE. A reverse image search shows that Neiman Marcus is the only site that has ever posted this picture (as of January 12th when I am writing this, because I am sure it will pop up after elsewhere after I publish it). If this was a past code, someone would have posted it. It makes me wonder if this should have been the code for this month, but Neiman Marcus chose not to make it live. When I test the promo code with any beauty items I place in my cart, it does not work. Beauty Cue codes have always been temperamental, but I am guessing this one was never live.
- Bobbi Brown Lip Luxe Lip Color in Natural Rose
- R+Co Dry Shampoo paste
- Hum Nutrition Hair Sweet hair gummies
- Tom Ford Black Orchid fragrance
- DIOR Lip Glow bubble card in Pink, Matte Raspberry, and Holographic Pink
Neiman Marcus did have a sale for $50 off a $200, $125 off a $500, or $275 off a $100 purchase that included most beauty and fragrance. That was under the code NEWYOU, which ran from January 8th through 11th. It was right after a gift card event that also included beauty and fragrance wrapped. Is it possible Neiman Marcus scrapped the January 2019 Beauty Cue Offer, because it had too many back-to-back events?
The option to select 5 samples with a $50 full-price beauty purchase is still there. These are foils, not deluxe sizes like you get in the Beauty Cue. You can technically add these with sales merchandise as long as you add full-price items first and do not remove the samples after removing the full-price merchandise. I’ve redeemed these with the Beauty Cue offer in the past, so trust me when I tell you these are not the same. There are times when these basic samples are not available.
Is the Beauty Cue gone forever? If February comes and goes without a Beauty Cue offer, they may truly be a thing of the past. Until then, I am hoping the January 2019 Beauty Cue absence is a one-time thing.
What are your thoughts on the lack of a Beauty Cue Offer for January 2019? Let me know below. You can add brand specific GWP offers with the Beauty Cue offer. Other times, you might have to choose between the offers, because they will not stack. I will continue to post offers I am aware of, so no worries if you happen upon this post after some offers above expire. A Beauty Cue should almost always be available.
