Sephora Point Multipliers 2019

Every time I see Sephora point multipliers in 2019, I add it to this article. Most point multipliers repeat around the same time each year, so looking at the previous year is the best way to track them. Whenever a multiplier corresponds with a specific event, I will also link the corresponding article below. There are times when your multiplier depends on your Beauty Insider Status. I track Beauty Insider, VIB, and Rouge promotions separately, but I will make a note of any that are exclusive to a rewards tier. Unless otherwise specified, all Beauty Insiders get the same offer.

2019 Sephora Event Calendar

I have one timeline where I list all major: Promotions, Sales, Deals, GWP, Promo Codes, and Events. Those who want to see an overall idea of what to expect this year should stop by. See where these Sephora Point Multipliers line up with others on the calendar. You can also visit my Sephora retailer page to see active and upcoming offers of all types.

Point Multipliers

Point multipliers are usually automatic whether purchased online or in-store, so you do not need to do anything to activate the offer other than present your Beauty Insider information.

February 2019 – 5x Points on Fragrance and a Free Scented Candle With a $75 Purchase

Sephora celebrates fragrance every May. All beauty insiders get 5x points on any fragrance purchase from 05/07/19 through 05/12/19. It is a Mother’s Day promotion. This usually lasts closer to 2 weeks, but it is normally only 3x points. We get less time to redeem this year but a bigger multiplier. Those who spend $75 or more also get a free NEST Rose Noir & Out Votive Candle.

February 2019 – 4x Points on Fragrance

Sephora celebrates fragrance every February. All beauty insiders get 4x points on any fragrance purchase from 02/08/19 through 02/14/19. It is a Valentine’s Day promotion. This usually lasts closer to 2 weeks, but it is normally only 3x points. We get less time to redeem this year but a bigger multiplier.

January 2019 – 2x Points on Skincare

Sephora gives 2x points on skincare every January. All Beauty Insiders get 2x points on any skincare purchase from 01/10/19 through 01/21/19.

What are your thoughts on the Sephora Point Multipliers? Let me know below. Sephora does not inform any Beauty Insider of all promotions. It does list a great deal of them on its Beauty Offers page, but I list some it does not on my Sephora Deals Page. Between the ones it lists and the ones I list, you can catch most of them. Subscribe to emails to get targeted offers. If you’re spending over $25 online, there is always a promo code that you can apply. Most major events run on a set schedule, which is why I track them. I cannot ever remember seeing a 5x points multiplier at Sephora. The highest I recall is 4x points for Rouge members in August, but Sephora did not do that in 2018. That does not mean it will be absent in 2019, because August is when they chose to relaunch the Beauty Insider Program. That relaunch could have just shut it down temporarily, but we will know for sure if it is absent again in 2019. January has offered 2x points for skincare for as long as I can remember, so this is right on track. If you look at the 2018 offers, you will see it did all the points promotions it usually does, other than the one in August.

I just purchased a perfume about a week ago. Do you know if I would be able to return and rebuy to get the 4x points?

Yes, you are within the return window. Go to your local store with your return and and receipt between the 8th and the 14th. The return will deduct the standard points you received when you purchased it. Repurchasing it will award 4x points.
