Almost six months to the day since Sephora offered a free face mask, the promotion has returned. Every time Sephora offers this event, it gets even easier to run in and grab a free mask. It would not surprise me if Sephora starts randomly mailing them to customers at some point in the future, because that is the only way it could get easier. Ulta occasionally mails free gifts, from what I’ve heard as I have yet to receive one. Just head over to your local Sephora anytime between today, July 27th through Sunday, July 29th. Show an employee the ad and ask for it. There is no purchase required, but I am sure Sephora would not mind if you made a purchase while you are there. If you make a purchase, do not forget to activate your ebates In-Store Cash Back for Sephora. This is the first time the event has spanned more than one day, so I am guessing more people will find time to get over there before the event is over. In that case, it is possible your Sephora could run out of stock before you get the freebie.
The link for the offer has a see details option, but is does not work. Someone clearly forgot to code it. Based on feedback (see comments below), I am guessing the details are one per Beauty Insider Account. If you do not have a beauty insider account, you can probably sign up for one on the spot. Sephora is one of the rare retailers that offers a free birthday gift to Beauty Insiders who have never made a purchase, so signing up is a good idea. There are times when the employee will demand to see the ad to honor the promotion, so feel free to use my screenshot above.
Only the Rose and Pearl mask are pictured, and it seems that those are the only masks offered for free in this event. I did get an Algae mask during the last event, but as you will see if you click on the link to that article, I saw an ad where an algae mask was pictured. It is important to note that original ad only for the last event had only the Rose and Pearl mask as well. If there is a second ad to get a bigger selection on the masks, I have not seen it. Of all the Sephora sheet masks I’ve tried so far, Rose is still my favorite. Getting another Rose mask is always okay with me. There is still one I have not tried yet, but I always forget which one it is when I am shopping.
These masks retail for $6, so each consumer needs to decide if getting a free one is worth a trip to the store. My kids and I never made it to the mall with the Sephora when we went back-to-school shopping on Saturday. They found all of their back-to-school clothes (minus a small Amazon order) at Kohl’s. You can see what they scored in the article right after this one (which will go up later today, 07/29/18). I was going to head over on Sunday (today), but I woke up not feeling well. Ultimately, the $6 free mask was not worth a trip to Sephora for me. The irony that I made it each time it was a one-day event and could not find the time or desire to make it the first time it was a three-day event does not escape me. So much for my thought that people would find time to get over there. I am proof that some things are more important. Anyway, I hope someone who did not know about the event saw this article and got a mask. Then, it was all still worth it.
What are your thoughts on the Sephora Free Face Mask Weekend? Let me know below. Sephora does not inform any Beauty Insider of all promotions. It does list a great deal of them on its Beauty Offers page, but I list some it does not on my Sephora Deals Page. Between the ones it lists and the ones I list, you can catch most of them. Subscribe to emails to get targeted offers. If you’re spending over $25 online, there is always a promo code that you can apply. Most major events run on a set schedule, which is why I track them. I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
