Twice a year, the Liter Sale offers Jumbo Sized products of your favorite haircare brands at deep discounts. Even the Gorgeous Hair Event has limited deals on super-sized hair products. The semi-annual event runs in winter usually starting mid to late December, and summer usually starting early to mid July. It is typically a four to five-week period that offers the same deals throughout the event. Its format is different from other major events that have a new steal each day with only a few deals that run throughout the event. Popular products will sell out before their scheduled end date, so buy them early in the event. This event runs 07/01/18 through 07/28/18. There are some items that only run for select periods throughout the event.
The online link for the sale is not as advanced as it is for other events, so it is easier to view the items for this event from the catalog.
You can purchase a pump for $1 ($3 value) with any jumbo purchase while supplies last. A pop up in the checkout screen will remind you to add it online. If the agent does not offer this deal in person, remember to ask for it.
Many professional haircare liters are on sale. Most liters have a set price for the event, but others are 15%-20% off the regular price.
Some drugstore hair products are on sale during the event. These products go on sale many times throughout the year, so I will not devote much attention to them here.
Pureology Jumbo sizes are 15% off. They usually retail for $66-$130.
Other Select Jumbo Sizes are 20% off. These include jumbos from: Alterna, Ouidad, It’s a 10, AG Hair, and Living Proof. These are regularly $48-$75. *The link does not lead to any Living Proof items, but it is in the ad. They could be discounted but not linked.
Some styling and finishing products are also on sale.
Over 30 brands have items included in the Buy Two, get One Free Promotion, regularly $3.50 to $37.50 each. You can mix and match brands, but the free item must have equal or lower value than the first two.
You can also take a quiz that will recommend products if you want to try something new for your hair concerns.
New guests can get 25% off a hair or skincare service.
On the first 3 Fridays of the event (the 7th, 13th, and 20th), all guests can receive a complimentary dry style featuring Living Proof from 4-8pm. No appointments are necessary. Stylists are available on a first come first served basis. There are no rainchecks for anyone not seen on time.
Platinum and Diamond members are likely to receive a Platinum exclusive steal sometime during the event. These are not announced until the morning they’re released and will only be valid one day. I will update this when I see Platinum offers, but you may not see my article that day. Make sure you check your Ulta emails throughout the event.
More special promotions will start after the event is underway. Some of these brands are drugstore items so they will combine with the $3.50 off $15 coupon.
