FabFitFun is launching the Seasonal Edit Sale. Like shop purchases, this is for subscribers only. Instead of writing a new article every season when there is a sale, I will add updates to this article for 2018. Let’s go over what it is and what it isn’t. Spring 2018 marks the first ever Edit Sale, but is it really just the Warehouse sale reimagined? While the Edit Sale is happening when the Warehouse sale usually does, there is one change that is for the better. After every seasonal box, FabFitFun holds a sale to offer items from past boxes, past add-ons, and new items for 25-70% off.
In the past, the Warehouse sale was similar to the Capsule Sale. The major difference was the Warehouse Sale could have anything, but the Capsule Sale would only have items related to its specific theme. The New Year Sale, Valentine’s Sale, and Made in America Sale are examples of a Capsule Sale. Another difference is the Warehouse Sale happened once after each season and the Capsule Sale could pop-up any time. During a Capsule Sale or the old Warehouse Sale, you pay for items as you go, but you are free to place multiple orders throughout the event. All orders you place ship separately so each order is subject to the $25 free shipping minimum.
Under the new Edit Sale, you can reserve items throughout the sale and only pay for them once after the sale wraps. Yes, this is exactly the way add-ons work for the boxes. Only instead of shipping with a box, all your Edit Sale items ship together at the end. This means you are only subject to one $25 free shipping minimum. It also means things that sell out at the beginning of the sale could get released before it is over. Some people act impulsively and grab a lot more than they otherwise would. Just like with add-ons, people have more time to think when the sale lasts a while. When people have time to think over their purchase decisions, some people will pare down their cart opening up items for others. Considering select members get a two or three-day head start to purchase items, it gives everyone else a chance to grab some nice things. Granted, they will have to stalk out-of-stock items throughout the sale hoping they come back. While that is a pain, it can certainly prove fruitful when the victor gets her spoils.
Seasonal “Edit” sales occur during the following months:
Spring Edit: April
Summer Edit: July
Fall Edit: October
Winter Edit: January (starts in December in 2018 but carries over into January)
Each sale will last six days to seven with select members shopping alone on the first two or three days. A preview of the items going on sale are available the day before it starts. Payments for all reserved items will get processed as soon as the event wraps. Orders start shipping within 10 days of wrapping each event. Edit Sales below are in reverse chronological order.

It took me hours to successfully login to the site. By the time I got in, there were some sold out items (as you can see in the pictures below). Thankfully, I ended up with all the items I wanted, because I did not realize how much I wanted certain things until they were gone. Everything that is available is pictured below.
There was no banner for a free mystery gift with a $100 purchase on top of my sale page, so I originally assumed it was not happening this round. FabFitFun is only offering gifts to select members this sale to conduct a test. If you do not have the banner, you will not receive the gift. As someone spending over $100, I am not pleased that I do not get the gift, but it is what it is. I am still purchased everything I wanted.
I go over everything I purchased in this sale.
Spring 2018 Edit Sale
Sneak Peek starts April 8th (Select members)
April 9th at 9am PST through April 15th at 11:59pm PST
Select members start April 9th
All members start April 11th
A banner that promised a free 3-piece mystery gift with a $100 purchase was on top of the sale page. I spent over $100. My three free items were: a Luv AJ Full Bloom Lariat in Rose Gold, a GLAMGLOW Pout Mud Tint in Love Scene, and an AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream. While I do not wear jewelry often (the reason I do not usually but it), I like this necklace. The GLAMGLOW is an item I almost purchased so I am happy I got that. This is a hand cream I already know and love so I always welcome more.
The first five pictures are items that select members reserved in full before I even got a chance to look. In every set of 8 where there is something I wanted, I snapped a picture. In the future, I will snap pictures of everything so people reading can see all items. For now, I have selected some items (to get me above the $25 free shipping minimum). If any items I want more become available, I may make some adjustments.
The Winter FabFitFun box was incredible. I’d easily purchase a second. Sadly, it never opened up. I did not get anything from this group. The Spring 2018 Editor’s Box, which I reviewed, also has the 1.7oz Kate Somerville Exfolikate that was in the winter box.
There are a couple of glasses here I really like. I did not get any of them though.
I’ve always wanted to try those AHAVA bath salts, but I did not want them for $22. They opened up later, and I was able to grab them.
I was able to get the Baby Foot Exfoliation Foot Peel, the Callyssee Macaron Bath Bombs, and Callyssee Buffing Beans Coffee Scrub. The foot peel is something I already love. Getting one for $9 is amazing. As I was able to get the dp HUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub in a set, I did not purchase this individual one.
Sadly, the set with the This Works Pillow Spray, the throw, and the Spongelle never opened up. The spray itself did open up, but I did not want to pay even $19 for it knowing I could have paid the same and gotten 2 bonus items. It was also in the Winter 2017 box so I still have plenty. Considering it was also in the spring add-ons, it could pop up as an add-on option in the future. I did get the #MermaidHair Bundle, which includes
Since the AHAVA Bath Salts opened up, I decided against this Cabernet one. I did not get anything from this group.
I like a couple of these bags, but I did not get any.
Even though I am not a huge jewelry fan, I like the LUV AJ Full Bloom Lariat necklace. I did not get it or anything else in this group.
I ended up getting a couple of these items in bundles so I did not get anything from this group.
The GLAMGLOW lip balm is one I had not tried yet but have wanted to. I was going to get it, but I noticed Sephora had the same base price plus 15% off for the spring bonus. Thankfully, I am getting this as one of my three free items, because it is out-os-stock at Sephora.
The set with the Whish Oil, the hair scrub, and the roller opened up so I grabbed one.
I ended up with a couple of things I did not even initially know I wanted. Everything I purchased (and received free) is in this article.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
