Sephora Beauty Insider Event- 10% Spring Bonus With 15% VIB Rouge First Access April 2018

Sephora changes the name of the Spring discount event almost every year. It has gone by the Beauty Insider Sale, the VIB Sale, Chic Week, A Love Note Sale, the Spring Bonus, Spring’s Hottest Ticket, and more. This year, it is once again going by the Spring Bonus. One thing remains constant. The event always takes place at the beginning of the Spring, usually April. It only started at the tail end of March once in 2014. Only members of Sephora’s Beauty Insider program can take part in this event (and a lot of other offers) so make sure you sign up if you have not already. Beauty Insider members get 10% off (since 2015). VIB and Rouge members always get 15% off. There is fluctuation in the number of shopping days from year to year (scroll down for more information on that). On weekend one, Rouge members shop alone. Weekend two opens to VIB members and Beauty Insider members. Rouge members get four extra 4 days to shop.
The Spring Bonus 2018 is getting divided into two weekends. That is usual for the November sale, but it is new to Spring. Scroll down to see sale information for the past five years. VIB Rouge members can shop each weekend of the sale. VIB and Beauty Insiders can only shop during the second weekend.
2018 – Spring Bonus Sale
The sale has officially been announced! These are multi-use codes. Shop as often as you want.
VIB Rouge- 15% off Code YAYROUGE from April 13th through April 16th and again from April 20th through April 23rd. That is a total of 8 days.
VIB- 15% off code YAYVIB from April 20th through 23rd. That is a total of 4 shopping days.
Beauty Insider Members- 10% off code YAYINISDER from April 20th through April 23rd. That is a total of 4 shopping days.
There will be a Rouge Event on the first day of the sale, 04/13/18. It is an open door event. An open door event gives the same shopping perks as a closed-door event, but it usually lacks treats and brand reps. Rouge members can bring a friend to shop with them in store on the first day of the sale. As long as the friend is a Beauty Insider member, his/her level does not matter. A friend accompanying the Rouge member will get 15% off. This is a standard benefit that has accompanied the event for years. The Rouge member and his/her guest should get a card case and samples with any purchase. Employees have been known to refuse the gift to the non-Rouge member. It had happened to my sister when she was shopping with me two different times.
No minimum purchase is required to get the discount, but whatever free shipping minimum you have for online orders also applies during the event. There aren’t many exclusions to the Sephora Spring Bonus Event other than the typical gift card exclusion, customizable sets (where the discount for customizing is usually greater than the percentage off you’d get under the event anyway), Play!, Flash, gift wrap, taxes, shipping & handling, or products from the Ordinary. Certain products have quantity limitations per transaction, but I never recommend buying too many of the same type of product on a single transaction anyway. The discount is available online using the promo code, but make sure to ask for the discount in-store. Sales associates do not always apply the discount automatically. Members shopping in a Sephora in JC Penney will also get the discount in-store, but it will not work at JC Penney online.
2017 – Spring Bonus Sale
I was not blogging in 2017. The links below belong to the Sephora Community moderator. To view the Rouge link below, you need to log into a Rouge account or an account that was Rouge at one time. VIB (or members who were VIB at one time) and Rouge members can view the VIB link. Beauty Insiders, VIB, and Rouge members can view the BI link. The online community does not demote your status so you can view the boards for the highest Beauty Insider level you were at any given time. You will get demoted for title and shopping benefits if you do not re-qualify each year.

VIB- 15% off Code VIBTICKET from April 3rd through 11th. That was a total of 9 shopping days.
Beauty Insider Members- 10% off code TICKET from April 4th through April 10th. That was a total of 7 shopping days.
2013 – Chic Week
VIB Rouge- This tier did not launch until July 2013
VIB- 15% off Code VIBCHIC from April 11th through 22nd. That was a total of 12 shopping days.
Beauty Insiders- 15% off code CHIC from April 12th through April 21st. That was a total of 10 shopping days.
What Does This Mean?
Rouge members received 7 shopping days in 2016 and 2017, but they get 8 in 2018. That is an improvement that I will note in my VIB Rouge exclusive offers article. VIB members received 6 shopping days in 2015, 2016, and 2017, but they only get 4 in 2018. This was the only major change. As it is a loss, I will note that in the VIB exclusive offers article. Beauty Insiders have received 4 shopping days for the past 4 years, so this was the only level with no change. It is still a perk, because non-members get nothing. This promotion is listed in the Beauty Insider members exclusive offers. Other than the split weekends and VIB members losing 2 shopping days, there are no other major changes to note.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (13 and 8) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do.
