As a deal shopper, I like to scroll through the sale section at Ulta a little more than I probably should. Sometimes I come across amazing items in there that are definitely worth sharing. Instead of writing a new article every time I come across a great sale item, I am going to list those items here for 2018. These are the items I feel are worth mentioning. There are too many great deals to list them all so I suggest periodically checking it yourself. If I purchase anything I list, I will let you know and offer or link a mini review when I can. The date I noticed the item in the sale section is next to it, but it may have appeared sooner than that. If the sale is over by the time you happen upon the article, this at least tells you the item has a history of going on sale. A new sale could pop up in the future if you’re willing to wait on the item.
Buy More Save More offers have a dedicated article. If you’re looking for BOGO offers, 2018 offers are listed there. Hot Buys (deeply discounted items) have an article of their own. Most sale items stack with the 20% off prestige coupon. Many drugstore items stack with the general coupon.
02/25/18- Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics– $27 (regularly $54).
05/05/18- wet n wild Midnight Mermaid Box -$14.99 (regularly $29.99).
03/07/18- Laura Geller Baked Brulee Highlighter -$12 (regularly $24).
02/25/18- Urban Decay Naked Skin Shapeshifter – $22.50 (regularly $45). I actually purchased this directly from Urban Decay for full-price the week it launched and still have not tried it yet.
02/25/18- Urban Decay UD Pro Contour Shapeshifter Brush – $19.50 (regularly $39).
02/24/18- Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat – $6.97 (regularly $9.95)
02/09/18- Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle 24k Gold Intense Wrinkle 6 Sheet Masks – $40.80 (regularly $68)
01/19/18- Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Palette – $24 (regularly $48). It has dipped to this price a couple of times before, but it also raises back to full-price after a while.
01/16/18- Becca Backlight Colour Correcting Creme -$16 (regularly $32). I’ve noticed a lot of Becca items on sale over the past two or three months. While I am not sure why, I have loved almost every item I’ve tried from this brand. It does face products so well. If anyone has tried these, please let me know. Are they too thick or do they spread out nicely?
01/14/18- LUNA Sensitive/Normal Skin -$126.75 (regularly $169). I really like the Play I sampled from this brand and think 25% off is a great deal. If I did not have so many Clarisonic brushes, I would purchase this. While I do see the benefit of owning this (more gentle) and a Clarisonic (deeper exfoliation even with a sensitive brush), I am going to pass this time. This is something I would love to eventually pick up.
01/14/18- Foreo Luna Play -$29.25 (regularly $39). On the one hand, I think 25% off is a great deal. For those who want to try this device without investing too much, they can pick this up. This is not rechargeable, so it only works until the battery is dead. That means you will either have to keep buying this one (which I do not recommend) or purchase the large one if you fall in love. has a $35 set that includes one of these, called The Nighttime Beauty Kit. While the other 7 items in that kit are deluxe sizes, paying an extra $5.75 for them may not seem like a bad deal if you want to try most of them. Sephora has a $64 set that includes one of these, the Skin Wonderland. It includes 12 other items and while all are small, getting a free sample of some of them is nearly impossible.
01/13/18- J. Cat Beauty Prep and Glow Face Vault -$15.99 (regularly $28.96). The only thing I really know about this brand is it pops up in a lot of subscription bags, like Ipsy. I purchased the contour palette a while back (have not tried it yet so I have no review to offer) and the Makeup Revolution Banana Powder (so I do not need another banana powder yet). Otherwise, I would have been all over this set. Getting each of these items for $4 seems like a steal to explore the brand. Brand sets like this are one of my favorite ways to dive into a new brand or expand my collection on brands I already know and love.
01/11/18- Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Kit -$21 (regularly $30). Although I am almost positive seeing this on sale before the 11th, I checked to see if Ulta offered the same price Sephora dropped it to. The lighter shade palette is out-of-stock at Ulta, and it is no longer listed at Sephora.
01/10/18- MAC Snow Ball Pigment Glitter -$22.13 (regularly $29.50). If you have any full-size MAC pigments, you probably know they hold more product than you can probably consume in a lifetime. These mini pigments are the perfect size. At $10 each, this set was already a deal (pay $0.50 less and get an adorable bag). I got one of these bags in a different set and the online picture does not do justice to how cute it is. Plus, these pigments would be new to my collection and shades I want. Other MAC Snow Ball sets went on sale before this one, and there are still some not on sale.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
