I still miss my Dad every single day, and while I doubt I will ever get over the abandonment I feel from my ex, I am ready to resume blogging. Of course, I may need some time to really get back into the swing of things, so please bear with me if it takes a while. My goal is to resume regular blogging by January.
The BAGOFCHEER promo code allows you to select one of three bags. I wanted to show the contents and sizes of the items in the white bag. Everyone who orders a white bag should receive these items. It was the bag design I liked the most. This promotion is valid with a $45 purchase while supplies last and can only be redeemed once. I found a review of the black bag and a review of the white bag with grey stripes. All bags have different samples (except for the foundation which overlaps in the white and black bags). View those reviews to see what is in the other bags. The white bag with grey stripes is the K-Beauty Bag, curated by Glow Recipe. In the video I linked above, they call it the “Find Your Chill” bag.
The white bag has 11 items and the other 2 bags have 12. Of those 11, 9 are foils and 2 are perfume vials. There are 9 foils, 1 mini, and 2 perfume vials in the black bag. Although the grey and white bag has more items at 12, they are all foils. When it comes to calculating value to samples, I never add value to foils. That does not mean I am not happy to receive them (as I would have probably been happiest with the 12 foils in the K-Beauty bag). As this promo code is almost completely foils, I am not calculating value on any of the bags. Considering the contents of each bag may vary, it is probably not a good idea to do that anyway.
The items in my bag were:
-single use Fenty Beauty by Rihanna single use Pro Filt’R Instant Smoothing Primer and Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in the shades 150, 22o, 340, and 420.
-single use Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer in Vanilla, Light Beige, and Sand.
-0.06oz foil Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
-0.05oz Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
-0.1oz foil Clinique pep-start double bubble purifying mask
-0.1oz foil blendercleanser liquid
-0.05oz foil Korres Greek Yoghurt Smoothie Priming Moisturizer
-0.006oz Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask in Champagne, Natural, and Smashed.
-0.06oz foil First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
-0.05oz Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
-0.04oz Calvin Klein CK2
This is a pretty decent assortment of foils, so I am not overly disappointed that I missed the K-Beauty Bag. Other than the Light Blue (which I have so many of) and the Smashbox primer (which I receive faster than I can get rid of), I will use everything else. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve ordered that Bite Beauty sample from Sephora. It got substituted every single time, so the sample stares at me from my order history as a reminder that I need to try it. There is a new holiday set from Bite Beauty that I had in my cart awaiting the Rouge sale that I can remove as I finally get to sample the product first! Granted, if I try the sample before the sale and love it, I can always add the kit right back into my cart.
Did you get any of these bags? If so, did you get different samples? I hope this bag does not replace the bag Sephora always offers around the holidays with the deluxe samples. That bag usually comes at the beginning of November, but they pushed it until late November last year.
Sephora does not inform a single Beauty Insider of all deal details. Certain offers are targeted and others have different purchase minimums based on the code. Remember to check New Offers and/or Recycled Offers before placing an online order. If you’re spending over $25, you can add a promo code to any order. See all Rewards Bazaar and Sephora articles. I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
