I track all Ulta offers, and this article will cover all bonus point offers for 2017. As soon as I see them, I will update this article with new offers. It could be a large post by the end of the year depending on how generous Ulta is with bonus point offers. These bonus point offers are separate from point multipliers (which I also track and will link here after I see the first offer of 2017). My goal with tracking offers is to better predict trends, as many retailers including Ulta repeat offers around the same time each year. This means I can look at the 2017 offers to get an idea of when 2018 offers may arrive.
By having them all listed in one place, it is also easier to see a pattern (if there is one) and helps predict when the next 2017 offer is coming. Ulta Bonus Points is a promotion that assigns a flat number of points with a specified purchase. These are targeted offers, so some accounts will not receive them at all. If you do not receive an email on this promotion, remember to check My Bonus Offers inside My Rewards. It is a good idea to check there anytime you see someone receive an offer you did not. There is always a chance your email had trouble coming through. For those who receive these bonus offer promotions, the amounts will always vary.
Some people get less bonus points, but they have a smaller buy-in. Others may get more bonus points, but they have a higher buy-in. Occasionally, there are people who get less bonus points for the same buy-in, but this is less common. The general rule is people get different offers based on account history. People who spend more throughout the year usually get the higher buy-ins with better bonus offers, but these offers are not an exact science. It is a sign that there is something wrong with your account if you consistently miss targeted offers others seem to get, so contact Ulta if it happens too often. There is no reason someone with an active account should miss multiple (more than 3) targeted offers in a row.
My offer is for 300 bonus points with a $60 purchase. This is the same offer I received the last time they offered bonus points on 10/30/16. Based on the duplicate offer and the date of the last offer, these offers come out once per quarter (with last quarter’s offer toward the end of the first month and this quarter’s offer at the beginning of the first month). These bonus point offers are available from 01/01/17-01/07/17.
It says it takes 5 minutes for offers to activate. Points get awarded when the order ships and will generally look at available multipliers then. In other words, you could even activate this offer shortly after placing an order (as long as it is the same business day), and you should get it once the points officially post to your account.
If you have questions about any Ulta Coupon, I go over all types. Targeted Offers are exclusive to UltaMate Members, so I do recommend joining. New members get $10 of their first purchase with a referral. Remember to check all Ulta offers before placing an online order, because there are always general or brand specific offers that are not targeted. Deal stacking is not only allowed, it’s encouraged. Product reviews do not always make it into the haul article, but you can always type the product into the search bar to see if I’ve mentioned it or reviewed it elsewhere. See all Ulta articles. I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
