The Fall 21 Days of Beauty officially kicked off yesterday. Read my overview for tips on the sale. There are at least three Platinum exclusive steals throughout the event. Ulta could surprise us with more, but only three are known. Today’s offer is also the most appealing to me. Better offers tend to sell out early, so I always recommend arriving as soon as the sale starts. Since Ulta is on central time, steals go live at 10pm PST and come down the following day at 9:59pm PST. It is always possible new GWP offers or Beauty Breaks will release in the morning, but waiting for them is always a risk. I’ve successfully waited and have missed out from waiting.
Today only, Platinum members can get any of the Becca Mineral Blush shades for $16 (50% off) while supplies last. This product only comes in six colors, and I anticipate a lot of demand. It will probably sell out quickly. Sadly, this is online only, so the deal will not be available in stores.
Platinum members get free shipping with no minimum purchase on beauty steals, so you could select only one online. I selected two, because I was having a hard time deciding between these two. There is also a Becca GWP that loads automatically with a $35 purchase. If you add them before signing into your Platinum account, the gift will load. It stays in your cart even after the price reduction applies as long as you pre-load everything and do not make any changes after signing in. If you are considering the shade Flower Child, I have a review (with a swatch and look) from that blush.
The full size items are more than twice the size of the usual samples, but they do not look twice as big front the outside. This has the sample on the top, and the full-sized blushes on the bottom.
I selected Becca Mineral Blush in Songbird. This is a bright orange-pink. After looking at many swatches, I can say depending on skin tone, this can look very bright or very muted.
On my skin, it is on the brighter side. I will probably apply this with a very light hand and build if needed. Once I wear this, I will add a picture and review.
This blush definitely wears more orange, almost copper. It blends out beautifully for a natural look, if that’s what you’re going for. I only swiped my brush into the pan once for both cheeks, because it is so pigmented. The color lasted less than 3 hours, which is standard for powder blushes on me.
I also selected Becca Mineral Blush in Wild Child. This is a peachy-nude. After looking at many swatches, I can say regardless of skin tone, this is a muted shade.
This definitely looks muted on my skin, but the color will build.
This blush gives an almost bronzy look, so I wore it without any powder contour or bronzer. I am wearing a liquid bronzer, but I think this blush stands out. It is a beautiful shade, but it only lasted on my skin for about 3 hours. That is pretty common for powder blushes on my skin though.
The GWP that loads automatically is 0.085oz Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in Opal.
This loads with a $35 purchase (or a purchase under $35 if the amount before logging into your account is over $35). The color seems closer to my skin tone that the powder and liquid versions of this color. Once I wear this, I will edit in a picture and review.
From left to right, I have: Wild Child, Songbird, and Opal Poured.
There is also a general GWP available with any purchase for a 2oz It’s a 10 Miracle Whipped Sulfate-Free Shampoo. That offer expires 09/10/16, but it will run out of stock before the expiration date.
I selected the skincare sampler, and I received the usual suspects: a 0.05oz Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, and a 0.005oz Benefit Porefessional. These are the samples that come in almost every 2016 Ulta order when selecting skincare or variety packs. It is actually shocking when I receive anything else.
There are other steals available today if you’re looking to get some extra items (or if a GWP with a higher buy-in releases in the morning). Those offers are: a 0.017oz It Cosmetics No-Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner for $11 (50% off), bareMinerals Concealers for $10-$11.50 (50% off), or Ulta Beauty Blush, Bronzers, and Illuminators for $4 each.
There are also Hot Buys, which are available while supplies last throughout the sale. Those are: dr. brandt Power Dose Vitamin C and Power Dose Vitamin D for $27.50-$34.50 (50% off), 0.24oz Butter London Clutch Shadow and Blush Palette for $24 (38.5% off), Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Face Gels for $17.50 (50% off), 1oz Strivectin Intensive Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles for $34.50 (50% off), 1oz x2 Perricone Cold Plasma Platinum Collection for $125.30 (30% off), 1oz Dermablend Compact Setting Powder for $13.50 (50% off), 1oz Algenist Retinol Firming & Lifting Serum for $51 (50% off), 0.14oz Julep It’s Whipped Matte Lip Mousse for $12 (40% off), 0.24oz Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener Nude for $10 (50% 0ff), 0.13oz Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick for $15 (29% off), 0.08oz tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector for $15 (37.5% off), bareMinerals Perfecting Face Brush for $14 (50% off), 0.012oz LORAC Front of the Line PRO Eye Pencil for $10 (50% off), and Honest Beauty Travel Kit for $27 (40% off).

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
