I spent all of 2014 and 2015 collecting the Julep birthstones. My plan was to collect every birthstone in 2016 as well. Julep decided to forgo the Birthstone Collection this year to focus on the Zodiac Collection. Each sign releases before the introduction to the new period. That means we can expect each sign to release before the secret store opens. Thanks to a great code in my July Julep Subscription Box, I was able to place this order before the item hit the secret store.
The eighth nail polish in the Zodiac Collection is Virgo. I used the code SUMMERCOLOR for a free nail polish color with a $10 purchase. Julep codes work twice per account, so it is the same one I used for Leo last month. This code expired on 08/31/16, but SAVE10 works for $10 off a $25 purchase through tomorrow. If you read this article after that date, I should have more codes on my Julep Page.
I tried restoring a few nail polishes in August using my Seche Vite Restore. It usually works wonders, but it is not a miracle worker. Before giving up on the polishes that did not come back to life, I decided I wanted to try the new Julep voilà! Nail Polish Thinner. If using Seche Vite, followed by this Julep thinner does not work, I can toss the bad polishes with no regrets.
This retails for $14 ($11.20 for Mavens with out automatic 20% discount). It comes in a 1oz bottle, which should last a long time. I’ve had my 0.5oz Seche Vite bottle for a while. Once I’ve tried this, I will report back on how it goes.
If you want to join Julep, visit my Julep Maven page to see all start-up offers. Visit my regular Julep page to see more offers for shopping. All polishes above are swatched once. They get darker with more swatches. See all Zodiac Collection, Julep, or Subscription articles. Tips For Getting the Best Deal lays out every way I can think of to save money at Julep.
