Beauty Insider Appreciation Week at Sephora Brings Point Multipliers September 10th 2016

See 2018 Point Multipliers.

See 2018 Beauty Insider Promotions.

The private VIB Rouge event for this promotion took place 09/10/16, and the 2016 VIB Appreciation Gift Bags released.

Beauty Insider Appreciation Week, which is usually at the beginning of August, starts September 10th this year. It runs through September 17th. The event comes with a point multiplier and an 8 piece GWP bag for VIB and Rouge members. Rewards Bazaar officially launched 08/18/16, and I am guessing Sephora wanted to work out the kinks before the point event. Today is actually the second official day of Rewards Bazaar, because new point perks are only released during business hours on Tuesday and Thursday. Though the official launch did not see any major offerings, Sephora promises they are coming. Perks from 100 points to 50,000 points will get released. I expect the 50,000 point perks will be extremely rare and incredibly valuable. In typical Sephora fashion, we will not see the official email on this event until shortly before the event. For official details, “stay tuned.”

The event is offering the usual multipliers, which is 4x for Rouge clients, 3x for VIB clients, and 2x for Beauty Insiders. Those were also the multipliers in 2013, 2014 and 2015. There were seven days in the 2013 event, from August 12th-18th. The 2014 through 2016 events were eight days each, from August 3rd-10th, August 2nd-9th, and September 10th-17th respectively.

The Rouge program did not exist in August 2012, so we can only go back to 2013 for historical purposes. In 2014 and 2015, the multipliers kicked off with a private Rouge event on 08/03/14 and 08/02/15. This is usually called a Beauty Before Brunch Event. There is a private Rouge event for 2016 called the VIB Rouge Beauty Insider Appreciation Event from 8:30am-10am on Saturday, September 10th. Rouge members can bring a guest to the event. Holiday First Access items will be available during the event, which is like Fall first Access items during the last event. If this follows suit, the items will only be available in store or online through a special link to Rouge members. I will add that link here as soon as it’s available. Everyone else has to wait for the products to reach their official launch dates.

The VIB appreciation gift bag usually releases online after the event starts with a $25 purchase. As soon as Sephora releases the promo code and pictures of the bag available online, I will update the information here. It is usually very similar or even the same as the bag offered during the Private Rouge Event. This year, the bag at the event has a $35 minimum purchase, so there is a chance the online buy-in will increase as well. I only picked up a bag during the event last year, because the online option was very similar. If there are not enough differences this year, I will likely do the same thing again.

Beauty Deals 2.0

Sephora does not inform a single Beauty Insider of all deal details. Certain offers are targeted and others have different purchase minimums based on the code. Remember to check New Offers and/or Recycled Offers before placing an online order. If you’re spending over $25, you can add a promo code to any order. See all Sephora articles. I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
