I received Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant in a BzzAgent campaign and quickly fell in love. They actually sent me a full-sized four-ounce version, and five 1oz samples to hand out to other beauty lovers. A part of me wanted to keep all six, because I loved this product so much. By keeping all of them, I would not need to purchase for a while. The rational part of me knew I accepted the product and agreed to hand out the samples, so I had to fulfill my part of the deal. All five samples went in my traveling beauty box, and they were all accepted by fellow beauty lovers. Although I am unsure how much each person liked the product, I know at least one person who received my sample and one who purchased after seeing my Instagram post love it. That makes me happy, because this really does make my skin glow. It really is an affordable product, too.
Because the product is so affordable, and I am super stocked on skincare, I decided to wait for the perfect deal before I purchased it. It helps that I still have plenty left from the free one I received, so I did not feel an overwhelming urge to take the first offer I saw. The regular shipping minimum at Paula’s Choice is $50, and I only wanted to purchase one $28 item. Although, I can think of a few more I want once I use up similar items in my stash. This is a product I always want to have.
Paula’s Choice emailed me an offer to come back and shop using code EWMYJULY16. The code was one valid through 07/31/16, so it no longer works. There will be similar codes in the future, because I’ve used a different 20% off and free shipping code with them in the past. I cannot speak for all similar offers with different codes, but this one worked on more than a single item when I tested it. If I was not stocked, I probably would have gone for another product.
Getting the product for $22.40, with 3 samples (plus a bonus I did not know about), and free shipping was the right deal, so I pounced. The samples I received were the ones I selected, a 0.03oz Resist Triple-Action Dark Spot Eraser 7% AHA Lotion, a 0.03oz, Resist Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum, and a 0.14oz Resist Weightless Body Treatment With 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid. There was also a bonus sample, 0.03oz Resist 10% Niacinamide Booster. It will probably be a few months before I need the new BHA, but I will be ready when I do. I am wearing highlighter in the picture below, but most of my flake-free glow is a result of this product. Read my complete review in my original BzzAgent article.
As much as I love beautiful packaging, I love that Paula’s Choice puts items in basic packaging to protect the ingredients and give us a better price. I also love that they stay on top of research, so I want to keep trying more products.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
