Influenster July Backyard Bash VirtualVox
Influenster gives free trial products of everything from beauty products to household items. To qualify for programs, you fill out quick product surveys. Once you’ve qualified, they mail the products. Try them and tell people what you think in person and on social media. Complete a short exit survey and review the product(s) on Influenster. The more active you are the more programs you qualify for. Everything received from Influenster is free. Some virtual Voxboxes or multi product packages include coupons to redeem for the product. At times, the coupon will not cover the full amount, but you can opt out of any program that only offers discounts or does not interest you. If you are unfamiliar with Influenster, you can read my overview.
The July Backyard Bash VirtualVox provides a badge for completing three easy tasks. It is possible the number of badges and type of badges you have play a role in what campaigns you’re selected for. I get selected into hair campaigns more than anything else, so I think they see my hair badges and think, ‘let’s send her some more shampoo.’ Not that I’m complaining, because I love shampoo. Any VoxBox that is not difficult to complete that puts something other than a hair badge into my list is something I will usually do. My goal is to get something other than shampoo to sample.
There are three easy tasks to get a Backyard Bash Badge. The top 200 badge holders (chosen by Influenster) get an automatic spot in an upcoming VoxBox. I completed my badge by scanning a product in the app (took about 30 seconds), created a list by adding products I want for said bash (took less than five minutes), and writing a review for a product in my list (took about 1 minute). This article is actually the thing that I spent the most time on, and there is no social sharing even required for this VoxBox. Sharing will not help me win either, so this is just my way of telling you about the contest.
My July Backyard Bash list of must haves consists of six products I want at every outdoor event. A nice hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen protect me from the sun. Between skin that burns easily and eyes that are sensitive to the sun (especially when sunscreen is near them), this trio helps a lot. I am really simple when it comes to backyard food. Just give me a hot dog, chips, and Pepsi!
If you’re an Influenster, I am pretty sure the July Backyard Bash VirtualVox is open to everyone. I do not always take part in these, so feel free to skip it if you’re not feeling it. This type of VirtualVox feels more like a contest. Winning a spot in the upcoming box would be nice, but I would not have tried if the tasks were hard. There are still three days left on this, so join now if you want to take part. It’s completely possible there is a cutoff date though, so do not quote me on that. The good news is if you join and cannot take part in this, there are always other free boxes and virtual vox boxes. See all Influenster articles. I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (13 and 8) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 13-year-old to apply it.
