Bloomingdale’s had a wonderful discount on sale and clearance items from June 29th through July 4th and sent coupons to Loyallists that gave an extra percentage off up to 40%. I actually received four different codes (five emails but two had the same code) during that period and did not realize until after the sale that the codes were different. If the first one I checked did not have the highest discount amount, I am sure I would have checked the other emails. When I know they’ve sent me the highest one, I have a hard time passing.
I am in the process of losing weight, so I probably would not have purchased clothes without such an incredible sale.
I did not even realize until I laid the items out that everything was blue and white. It was a patriotic purchase.
Getting everything for $94 on the 4th and seeing the charge at $223.81 on the 5th makes me feel a lot better about the purchase though.
All of these items are a little too big, so the fit is not great. They are either not true to size or I lost more weight than I realized. It is likely the latter, because there are two different brands within the four items. I can probably make the shirts and dress work, but the pants will not. As soon as I wear those items, I may edit in a picture (assuming it looks all right). The price is so incredible, that I will probably keep the pants. If I ever get pregnant again, I can use these. Should that never happen, I will gift them.
I got the Lauren Ralph Lauren Plus Skinny Jeans in Authentic Navy for $16.61. The price raised to $39.54 the next day.
I got the Lauren Ralph Lauren Plus Cap Sleeve Handkerchief Dress for $39.59. The price raised to $94.25 the next day.
I got the Lauren Ralph Lauren Plus Striped Scoop Neck Tee for $14.87. The price raised to $35.42 the next day.
I got the Love Scarlett Plus Layered-Look Top for $22.93. The price raised to $54.60 the next day.
Loyallists get a $25 rewards card for every 5000 points they earn. I never seem to make purchases when they are having Power Points or even a multiplier, so I’ve never cashed in on any points. This was another small point purchase. It gave me 94 points. There is a Power Point Multiplier for 5000 Power Points with a $100 regular priced purchase from most items in: women, shoes, handbags, jewelry, accessories, fine jewelry, men, kids, and home through 07/17/16. It would not have applied to this order, because these were clearance items.
There is an offer for 40% off a single item or 50% off two items in most permanently reduced categories through 07/24/16. I almost considered placing another order to take advantage of the sale and possibly get the power points, but I am going to wait until I lose more weight before I purchase more clothes. I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
