Sephora Offers a 20% Discount to Disney Cast Members at Disneyland Downtown Disney on Select Dates

The 20% off discount for friends and family of Sephora takes place in October, and the 20% off for VIB Rouge and VIB clients takes place in November.

My two favorite places combine! Disney is my happiest place on earth and Sephora is a close second. That makes the Sephora at Downtown Disney in Anaheim a super special place. Sephora appreciates Disney cast members, too. They have special cast member days where employees show their Disney ID for 20% off. This event happens more than you’d think. DisneyWorld finally got its own Sephora at Disney Springs in May 2016, but I have not been to DisneyWorld since the store opened. Once I go, I will edit in some pictures from the other coast. It probably has (or will have) similar offers for Disney employees.

After I first discovered this special discount when reading about the 05/13/16 through 05/14/16 event, it surprised me to see another event so soon. The newest event takes place from 06/23/16 through 06/26/16. If you are a Disney employee who also loves Sephora and has access to the Sephora Downtown Disney store from June 23rd through June 26th, make sure you stop by. We were actually going to Disney on those dates, but our plans changed. It is one of the smaller Sephora stores I’ve been to, but they tend to have more specialty Disney items that most stores.

I was able to purchase my Sephora X Disney Ariel Collection Mini Nail Polish set at the Downtown Disney Store near Disneyland in August of 2014 (while I was there for Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend to take part in the runDisney 10K) long after it sold out online and in stores around my city. With all the items released from the Disney Collection recently, I would not be surprised to see many items available in that store that sold out in other places. They also had the princess mirrors when other stores did not. Of course, they have a lot of wonderful items unrelated to Disney as well.

Although I am not always going to know the exact dates of the promotions, because I neither work for Disney nor Sephora, it seems like they repeat often. If you happen upon this article after this one expires, ask around. There is a great chance this event will repeat and often.

There will be 20% off sales for: Employee Appreciation in October (where Sephora employees send special codes via email to friends and family), the VIB Sale in November, and items in the sale section in December. Short of working at Sephora or Disney, those are the only times to get 20% off from Sephora from your Beauty Insider account.
