April 2016 FabuFinds
Every month, I review my empty products. Some products are not worth thinking about once the month is over. Others are wonderful and seem like they’re made for me. Those are FabuFinds, and I generally devote a little more time to discussing them. They are items I have repurchased and will continue to repurchase even at full price if I could not find a good promo code.
To eventually spotlight all of my FabuFinds, I will never repeat items already mentioned in a past article. That does not mean they lost their magic. It is also possible an item not spotlighted in a past Empties article may get promoted as I try it more and fall deeper in love. Other times, it is because I had a lot of FabuFinds in a previous month and decided to condense the article. There were three products I consider FabuFinds in my April Empties that I have not discussed yet.
Megan was kind enough to send me a generous sample of Essentielle Beauty Super Oils Cream. The cream consists of: jojoba, hazelnut, rosehip, macadamia, and kukui. This formula is not overly thick, but it is deeply moisturizing thanks to the impressive blend of oils. My skin glows with these impressive oils, and the blend does not upset irritate my skin or clog my pores. While I mostly used this on my face, it worked wonderfully on elbows and other areas of extremely dry skin. One application lasted and kept my skin hydrated until the next wash, which is all I really ask for. This does not play well with all sunscreens, but I found that it works beautifully with otters.
Birchbox sent me this Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle sample twice, once in my second box and another time in my third. They do not repeat samples, but you can get repeats if you have more than one box. I am about to receive a third sample in my original Birchbox, which makes me happy. Sadly, I did not keep my second sample of this. If I get duplicate samples before I’ve tried the original and fall in love with it, I usually trade or gift the duplicate. The one I am about to receive will stay with me. I love the way it smells. There is nothing like clean, fresh smelling hair that is beautiful without being overpowering. This nails that. It detangles beautifully, which means less pulling, which means less hair loss and reduced frizz. My hair feels softer, so I can feel the conditioner working.
It looks like Ulta is out of Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Butter. I hope this is temporary, because I adore it. They do have a small version with a roller ball and lip balm in the Take Me There Set. While I have not purchased a Take Me There Set specifically in this scent, I have purchased them before, so I know the sets are worth the piece. Neither the lip balm nor the perfume are items I would purchase separately, but I loved trying them for the set price. The perfume has the same great scent, but it is not long-lasting. I really like the lip balm and love the slight color and scent it leaves in addition to the feeling of the balm itself. Like the perfume, it does not last a long time.
The body butter does last a long time, so it is the real star of the set and the only one I’ve the three I’d call a FabuFind. My skin feels extremely moisturized and lasts through washing, although I reapply after every wash. I’ve tried a lot of Pacifica body butters, and this is one of the thinner ones from the line. It is still medium density, so it would classify as a normal body butter from most lines. Like every Pacifica product I’ve tried, it smells unbelievably good. This scent is a fruity-floral, with more fruit than floral shining through, thankfully. I have yet to try a Pacifica scent that was not intoxicating.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (13 and 8) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 13-year-old to apply it.
