Smiley360 is an online community. It consists of influential consumers who try products and experiences for free. Brands give their products to Smiley360 who matches them to qualified community members for testing. Based on past missions and your profile, new mission opportunities go on your dashboard. Members take part in the mission if their short qualification surveys line up to what the study is looking for.
The more missions you complete, the more points you earn. Members with more points usually get first dibs at new missions. You choose your level of activity. Pardon my pop culture reference, but “your mission should you choose to accept it” is to take part in the studies that interest you. To complete missions, you must give honest reviews on social media. If you’re unfamiliar with Smiley360, you can read more about my first Mission.
I am a loyal Tide detergent shopper. My Tide purchases have evolved over time. After getting an occasional load where the powder did not fully dissolve, I switched to the liquid. Then, the pods came out, and I never looked back. They’re so easy to work with and really convenient for travel, because the Disney cruise ships only sell another brand of powder. When my boys were babies, I did experiment with baby detergent and natural brands, but I always returned. Tide always leaves my clothes smelling great and clean (well as clean as possible, because its stain removing power is wonderful but not magical).
When Smiley360 invited me to join the all® Powercore™ Pacs, I accepted thinking there is no way it will live up to my Tide. I like trying new things, especially when there is no cost to do so. If I do not like them, I am not out anything.
The power core pacs promise to remove tough odors and leave a long-lasting scent.
Both claims are true. My husband and I both prefer the way these smell to the Tide ones we normally use, Spring Meadow. Of the Tide scents readily available at our store, Spring Meadow is our favorite. Although we do not have any tough odors, gym clothes and swimming clothes do not smell like sweat or chlorine after washing. They do not smell that way with Tide either, but I am sure some detergents probably have a tough time removing stronger odors. The baby safe washes I tried over the years had a hard time removing odors or stains from diaper blowouts.
I finished the bag and believe it removes stains as well as Tide. The improved scent that lasts for at least 5 days on sheets or longer on unused clothing, which is a definite plus. When I do a load of laundry (other than towels or blankets), I also add a Tide Boost (stain remover pod) even though stain removal is in the regular pods. It gives them an extra boost, which comes in handy with two boys. To give these the same shot, I used the Tide Boosts with them. If I find these do not work as well on stains, I will report back.
The pod actually has two liquids and a powder, so it reminds me more of a Tide Boost than a Tide Pod. Boosts have a liquid and powder. A Tide Pod (on the bottom) has three liquids. All of the powder in the All pods and the Tide Boosts (not pictured since it is a different product) dissolves, so I do not mind the powder in these pods.
Once you’ve finished your product (or enough to review it), you have some tasks to complete. They want reviews on Walmart, Target, and Amazon. For added points, you can share on social media.
My husband went to Sam’s Club in late June 2016 without me one afternoon and came home with a giant tub of All Powercore Advanced Oxi. I’m sure he thought this was the same thing I sampled, and he just wanted to buy the product he loved so much. This does not even look the same, so I will review this once I’ve finished the huge box of Tide Pods I had not even opened when he purchased these. He knew I had an unopened box of Tide when you purchased (and dropped this). If he gives me a hard time for buying too many beauty products far in advance (and he sometimes does), I can always remind him of this.
This was another great product I probably never would have purchased without receiving a free sample. You can also join Smiley360 if you love sampling free stuff and do not mind sharing your thoughts. I love sharing deals and writing about freebies, so this program is perfect for me.
