I spent all of 2014 and 2015 collecting the Julep birthstones. My plan was to collect every birthstone in 2016 as well. Julep decided to forgo the Birthstone Collection this year to focus on the Zodiac Collection. Each sign releases before the introduction to the new period. That means we can expect each sign to release before the secret store opens. Thanks to a wonderful Leap Day sale that did not exclude codes, I was able to get 2 polishes free with this order.
The second nail polish in the Zodiac Collection is Pisces. I was going to order this from the Secret Store thanks to special codes that work inside the secret store, but I did not find any items I had to have. When I noticed the regular January code worked with the special $5 Leap Day Polishes and on Pisces even though she was still listed in the Secret Store, I had to order that way. For Reference, the regular January code did not work last month when I ordered Pisces while it was still in the store. Yes, I checked. This allowed me to use the code for $10 off a $20 purchase on the 2 polishes that were already discounted, so I only paid the $11.20 Maven price for Pisces. Although I am collecting all the signs, this is my sign, so I am happy it is a beautiful polish.
Pisces is a shimmering seaside sunset duo metallic. Depending on the angle, she can look totally pink or orange, but I see her more orange than pink. The finish is semi glossy and a little rough. A top coat can smooth it out. Compare this to my other coral and orange polishes.
Maggie is a frosty amethyst shimmer with light blue glitter back from the vault. The finish is semi glossy and mostly smooth. A top coat will smooth it out. Compare this to my other purple polishes.
Cora is a midnight blue jelly with blue glitter. This top coat has blue and green sequins. She will go with blues instead of top coats, because this polish stands on its own. It is slightly rough, so it would take a top coat or two to smooth it out. Compare this to my other blue polishes.
Getting three polishes for $11.20 makes each one about $3.73. Each code works twice. This code expires before the next release, but thankfully there are others already out.

I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (12 and 7) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 12-year-old to apply it.
