SampleSource Volume One
I registered with SampleSource and filled out my profile. Within a few weeks Sample Source contacted me about free samples suited to my profile that were available. Quantities are limited, so I responded as soon as I got the email. A few weeks after your samples arrive, you will get an email asking to review the products.
I ordered this 4 piece sample pack on 10/28/15. There were 5 items listed in my email but one was out of stock by the time I responded.
While my items were in the shipping process, I received emails on two of them. The first came from Breathe Right Extra® Clear Nasal Strips. It offered instructions and helpful information. This is an item I’ve sampled in the past, and I pretty much wasted the first one from improper application. I appreciate the email, which is especially helpful to those new to the product. These are great for when you’re stuffed up and unable to breathe properly to sleep. Mouth breathing blows (pun intended).
The second came from Bona Hardwood Cleaner. It offers some basic information and also invited me into the product club. I joined the club, because it promised an instant $3 off coupon and future offers.
You spray this directly onto the floor. Even products that direct you to spray directly on the floor are usually best diluted, because they can look streaky and make the floor slippery. After cleaning the floors, I sprayed this on by itself to test it out. My floors are shiny without being slippery. There are no streaks. This does not have much of a smell either, so I do not even need to worry about it to blending well with the floor cleanser. It is something I will gladly purchase.
Shipping can take 4-6 weeks, but my items arrived between 2-3 weeks of ordering.
The Nature’s Path Flax Plus MultiBran Flakes was a pretty bland, boring cereal. This was supposed to be the Pumpkin Flax Granola, but I did receive the proper item in my next box from them. That is what I expect from healthier cereal, so I would not be opposed to eating it again when I am watching my diet carefully. Some of these healthier cereals taste terrible, so I will take bland any day over terrible.
The Seventh Generation Free & Clear Wipes have disappeared. I placed them on my nightstand, so I would be sure to use them. Someone took them, but no one will admit it. I still have not found the sample, so I used the $1.50 coupon to purchase a set. They are thick and do not have much of a scent. This is a quality wipe, and I am definitely glad I purchased it. We use wipes for everything here, including removing makeup swatches from my arm. My skin felt as clean and lacked the stickiness cheap wipes leave behind. These are right on par with the sensitive Pampers wipes I always buy, but these are a bit thicker.
The exit survey arrived on 12/09/15. It asked a few basic questions about each of the four items. I gave them permission to contact me by phone if they have any additional questions. This whole process took between 5-10 minutes, and I am eligible for the next sample release in a few months. See all SampleSource articles. I'm Kimberly. Shopping is always more fun when I've found the best deal available, so I am always on the hunt. My father instilled that in me, and I love that I carry a piece of him. Sometimes, my husband and sons (13 and 8) let me shop for them, too. They do not use as many beauty products as I do. We can all benefit from nice products, even though their routine ends with moisturizer. That is when I can convince my 13-year-old to apply it.
