Nothing beats completely free offers. Sometimes, there really is no catch to obtaining free items. You just have to know where to look and how to find them. Welcome to the third installment of items I’ve received for free. Past free sample articles feature different freebies. The offers at times come in emails. Sometimes, you will see them on a blog or the direct brand’s website. Other times, you can find free offers on social media or even through snail mail. My Free Samples Page provides more information on sample opportunities. Offers can at times come by phone, but I never answer numbers I do not recognize. I will miss out on any that come that way.
I will always list general free items I am aware of on the front page of this site. Sites I trust for free items are listed here if you want to look into any of them.
Some of you may remember that I responded to the Lancome Genifique emails from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman even though they have the same Lancome rep. The emails usually say one per person, but I wondered if that meant one from Neiman Marcus and one from Bergdorf Goodman, so I decided to find out. I sometimes only receive an offer email from either Bergdorf Goodman or Neiman Marcus. It is not unusual that I receive the same offer from both though. My Lancome rep for Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman is the same person, so she sent both emails.
Well, I was happily surprised to see that a second bottle of Genifique arrived in the mail within a few weeks of the other one. Both requests were filled. I am probably going to put the second one in the giveaway. Hopefully, whoever receives it will love it as much as I do. To this day, it is still my all time favorite serum. As an activating serum, it works fine on its own but great with other serums. I always see the difference in my skin when I wear it. Genifique makes it glow.
A couple of weeks after receiving the second bottle of Genifique, I received an email offering the Absolue Precious Email. It came from Bergdorf Goodman. It came on the first day of the Be Beautiful Event. The event offering a lovely GWP sadly has a $275 buy in, so I decided to sit that one out. I have never tried this, but I really want to. Absolue is a great line, and I love been lovely oils lately.
Within two weeks of responding to the Bergdorf Goodman email, I received the sample labeled from Bergdorf Goodman in the mail.
Days after receiving the Bergdorf Goodman email, I received one from Neiman Marcus. Again, they are technically different stores even though they have the same Lancome beauty consultant, so I responded to both emails to see what would happen.
Once again, I got a sample from both stores. It looks like it serves you well to respond to both. The second one took a while longer to come in, so I was unsure if it would make it this time. If I love the first one, I am glad to have a backup. Should the first one not work for me, I am sure this will find a good home.
Before I received the second oil from Neiman Marcus, I received another Bergdorf Goodman offer from Lancome. Defincils is my all time favorite mascara, so I happily responded.
The mascara arrived at my house eight days after responding to the email. That is by far the fastest turn around yet.
Three days after receiving the email from Bergdorf Goodman, I received the same offer from Neiman Marcus. They’ve been treated as separate retailers for all other offers thus far, so I responded again. If I get anything, I will let you know in the next article.
P&G Everday is an online community that gives you the opportunity to order free samples, print coupons and more. There are so many items in addition to beauty products that you can sample or print coupons for, so this is a site even someone who does not use drugstore beauty products can try. I requested this sample of Olay Regenerist and was happy to see it includes a coupon if I choose to buy it.
The offer to receive this free L’Oreal Advanced Haircare sample is currently on the front page, but I will also link it here. The funny thing about this sample is I ordered a bottle of the yellow one from Ulta, and picked up a pink bottle in person from Target. I also got samples of this in my Wal-Mart Beauty Boxes. Hopefully, I like it when I finally try it, because I put a lot of trust into buying two before sampling. When it comes to drugstore products, I am more willing to buy before I try. Not only are the products cheaper, but samples are usually hard to come by. This is obviously an exception. If I do like it, I am glad I have a coupon to buy it again.
